While easy to replace and the covers are good, the string is weaker than OJ Simpson's alibi. In one round of use, I went through over half the string of one of the spools. If you are buying this for the caps, then it's a decent deal, if you are buying it for the string, you will spend more time pulling out the string then cutting the grass.

It's been great so far, but I am still on my first spool. I did use one of the replacement caps which was a bear to get on. Hopefully it will not be as hard to get off when the spool runs out. I have a Ryobi 18v which I really rely on, especially during rain seasons. The mower clogs up too frequently when the ground is damp, but the Ryobi will still cut the grass and take care of weeds. I love that this is a multi pack and that it actually costs way less than similar packs by Ryobi. No snags or breakage occurred when I tackled the front lawn, and it was bad. The frequent and heavy rains we are having now have the weeds and grass growing like crazy. I couldn't see my chihuahua very well once he left the pavement and went into this growth. It was so nice not having to stop, uncap, then re-feed the line as I have done with some other bargain brands. I shudder to think how much longer it would have taken if I had to do that. I'm happy with this purchase.

These are durable and a good price. They seem to last better than other replacement string I’ve used. I was given a tip to soak the string cartridge in water before use. It helps the string less much longer. They fit in my Ryobi trimmer well
