After 2 months of use it stopped charging and just turned into a brick. What a disappointment.I wanted to update my review to reflect the excellent customer service I received. The company contacted me and sent a replacement. I am very happy with the way they handled the situation!

Very happy with this purchase. My very old iPod had stopped taking a charge and I was looking for a replacement. I have other Android devices and prefer platforms that run in a similar manner. It was easy to transfer music with the provided chip. I connected with my local library with no problem and audio books work well. I like it's size and it feels sturdy in my hand.

My only complaints are; battery life if using wireless ear buds & volume could be louder. Other than that, it's not difficult to use & create playlists

I’ve seen others comment on this and I decided to give it a try anyway only to have the same issue. We took the player out of the box, charged it, then used it here and there for two days. Then it died and would not charge. I tried multiple usb-c cords but no luck it’s completely dead. Sending back.

I'm probably the outlier here, but I loaded up 100,000 songs, which took a couple days, and the built in HiBy Music Player app can't handle it. It takes forever to load, freezes constantly, crashes. I had it working when I loaded up a smaller volume of music. So while you can expand this things internal memory with an SD card, it doesn't read very well off of it, or rather, can't read at all. I'm not sure what the limit would be, but if you are expecting a TB libary of music, look somewhere else. The main thing I wanted here, was to have this available for driving, and it just simply doesn't work with such a large libraryThe screen scratches pretty easy too.

Mostly wanted the G3 for audiobooks. I specifically ordered the white as it indicated that colour had Hoopla. No Hoopla. Instructions stated to install Amazon Store. Downloads but install fails. So no Amazon Store, no Hoopla though explicitly stated that both would work on this device.

I'm a technical idiot so I needed my BF to give me the preschool version of how to use this but I love it, now that I've got it figured out, I use this at home, on walks, it's awesome, I can even get on the internet with this thing with my wifi. Battery lasts forever, great product!!
