I am impressed with this charger's performance. It is compact, lightweight, and very easy to use. The charger automatically detects the battery type and adjusts its charging method accordingly, which is a great feature. It works efficiently, delivering a consistent charge. One notable feature is the cooling fan, which does get loud, but since I use it in my garage, it hasn't been a problem. The fan runs while charging, and I appreciate that it helps prevent overheating. Once the battery is fully charged, the unit automatically shuts off, ensuring that I don’t have to worry about overcharging. This charger is definitely a great option for anyone looking for a reliable, smart, and cost-effective solution for maintaining or charging their car battery.

Charges let acid batteries fine but as far as lipo 4 that's not good I don't think it overture will overcharge. The instructions aren't all that great it said it was good for life '04 but I don't believe it is it's just my opinion though.

Just started using it. Charged both lithium and regular batteries. Works well so far. Note. Make sure you have bms on your lithium battery or this charger won’t work for you. Also the fan is a bit noisy

One of our better car battery charger, we have purchased a good number of car battery chargers over the years, this is one rather capable charger. The cooling fan is loud, it is fine as we used it outside on the driveway or inside the garage.

Pumped out close to maximum current for 16 hours straight while I was charging my280 Ah Lifepo4 battery. The fan was running full blast so a little loud but it didn't over heat and crap out!

I had an old school battery charger, which was heavy, slow, and with an analog voltage gauge that never worked. This little device is the opposite:- Lightweight, good length charging cords- just works- easy to read LED- compatible with multiple battery types (though I only use for automotive)- multiple battery charging speed options, including automatic trickle charging!- really good value!Love it!

I would give this a 4.5 stars if I could. This is the most compact and lightweight car battery charger I have ever got. It is very easy to operate with just one button to select the four modes: Motorcycle, STD, High Current, and Repair Mode. The display is large and clear. Once connected to power, it performs a quick diagnostic and starts working. I mainly use it to charge and repair 12V lead-acid batteries, but it can smartly identify the battery type (Lithium, LiFePO4, and Lead Acid) and apply proper balanced charging accordingly. It is small but powerful for charging and repairing a full range of batteries. When I connected the battery with the wrong polarity, the charger immediately displayed an error message and sounded an alarm without sparking (power is not applied). After correcting the connection, it started working and displayed the charging conditions of voltage, current, temperature, and charge percentage. It automatically turned off when the battery was fully charged. This small charger has a current rating of 16 Amps, making it useful for quickly recharging a depleted battery. My old NOCO Genius charger is only 3.5A, which is much slower. The tradeoff for such high amperage fast charging is the noisy cooling fan. However, charging the car battery in the garage with the noise is acceptable. The fan stopping helps me know when the battery is fully charged. The time savings justify the nuisance of the noise, although they could have a better fan. They advertise it as the first battery charger that adopts a 10-stage charging process. My understanding is that the multi-stage charging process ensures the battery is charged in a controlled and efficient manner. The trickle charge mode after fully charging is a good safety feature that prevents overcharging and overheating. This makes it safer for long-term use, especially when leaving the battery unattended for extended periods. The specs on overall charging protections are reassuring. I have no application for charging a 24V battery. I tried to repair an old battery, and it took around 6 hours to fully charge it again.

A very useful battery charger. If you don't want to replace the battery after using it for a long time, it is very necessary to prepare such a battery charger.

Between the lawn mower, motorcycles and ATVs, I have several battery charges to keep them all alive through the winter. I have found that I've come to prefer the small compact ones instead of the older type made with heavy transformers. This charger has several very nice features including a max charge rate of 16 amps. This charger has three charging modes and one repair mode that are all implemented automatically. In motorcycle mode, it acts aa a low voltage, 2 amp "trickle charger" suitable for maintaining batteries that "sit" for long periods of time, lawnmowers or motorcycles during the winter months. If your battery is fully charged, it will automatically enter "maintenance" mode when connected. In "Standard" mode the charger will select the most appropriate amperage for your battery's charge state. If close to "dead" it can charge at a rate of up to 16 amps and then taper the amperage all the way down to 2 amps as your battery reaches fully charged. Standard mode is normal for 12 volt lead-acid, deep cycle, WET and EFB batteries. The charger will automatically detect higher voltage 24 volt batteries such as Lithium and LiFePO4 and charge them using the high voltage mode.It has a final "repair" mode that can "fix" or improve some common problems that affect lead-acid batteries as they age. This repair feature is also automatically selected if the charger determines it is needed. A repair session can last up to 24 hour and will be followed automatically by the appropriate charging method.Like most modern battery charges this one incorporates a variety of safety features such as over-heating, crossed wires and over charging. Another nice feature is that it "remembers" it's last process in the event of a power failure. Nice feature that prevents having to "restart" when the power goes out and comes back on.I really like these compact multi-function automatic battery chargers but the one complaint I have for this one, is the short cables. The entire length of the 110 power cord and the positive and negative battery cables combined, is only about 6 feet. It would be rare to find a power outlet close enough without using a drop-cord.Bottom line though, I have found this charger to so far, be reliable and work well.
