This is my second order. Both orders have the holes on the chin rest in the wrong location and are oversized. The metal bracket won't fit because the holes are too far apart. So I have to redrill the holes to .25 inch diameter, insert a .25 inch diameter dow rod, and relocate and redrill the holes. This is ridiculous.

The Ebony chinrest is very comfortable, well made and easily installed as with very good quality tuning pegs and the tail end piece. The actual tailpiece is only cast aluminum and the fine tuners are very difficult to use without pliers. I reached out to the supplier via email, but no response. I ordered and installed a composite tailpiece and tossed the aluminum one in the recycling.
