INSTALL TIPS
STEP 1
Lightly shake toner to evenly distribute the toner inside the cartridge.
STEP 2
Pull seal tape straight out from the side of the toner until completely removed.
- Do not pull at an angle.
STEP 3
Remove all protective covers.
- Do not touch chip
STEP 4
Install cartridge into printer until it locks into place.

Bought this and it arrived today. My HP Laser Jet P1505 would not recognize the cartridge. In checking with my local repair shop, they advise that HP (Hewitt-Packard) is updating their printer softwares to only recognize original HP cartridges and to limit the number of prints you can get off a cartridge even if the cartridge is not empty.

My old HP1505 ran low on toner (only happens once every couple of years... I don't have to print much since I retired). My usual source would take too long, so I thought I would give these a try. Perfect fit, quick delivery, excellent print quality. Can't comment on longevity since this is my first experience with these cartridges and I just popped it in this morning. But so far, very happy.

Delete my previous comments about these cartridges not working. I reinstalled my driver and printer and I obtained a correctly printed test page

HP message came up recognizing that this is not an HP product and said any damage resulting in its use they would not be responsible for. However the printer is over 5 years old, so I will take my chances. Overall the product came when it was supposed to, was a fraction of the cost of the last cartridge I bought, so I am more than satisfied with it.
