I don't consider myself a cowboy or any of that, but I'm a ginger and as such, need as much protection from the sun as possible. That quite often means wide brimmed hats when outdoors, especially when fishing or working for long periods. The problem I encountered was what to do with the hat when I'm not wearing it. I find it hits the headrest when I'm driving, but there was nowhere convenient to hang it. Along come these units and my problems are solved! Install was so simple a child could do it and it stays where I put it without any vibration or rattling, even without a hat in it. Every wide brim hat I have fits in there easily and in just about any orientation. It also leaves plenty of space for a back seat passenger. I'm really happy with these and I wish I had found them sooner!

The hanger fit perfectly in my F150 truck and had plenty of room for my hat and holds the brim away from the seat. Works great.IMO, the price is a little high for a bent coat hanger ( the wire is actually much stiffer ) BUT it is inline with other offerings AND this hanger has the extra cross wire that I thought would help to hold the spacing.I am pleased with the purchase and would recommend this product.

My friend --who often goes to Texas and wears real Texas cowboy hats everyday-- did not know that this type of holder existed. He was amazed.This device works perfectly for cowboy hats and similar kinds of hats. It sort of works for baseball caps, but only if they have a "hard shell". Soft fabric baseball caps won't work.I would give this holder six stars.

Its a problem wearing a cowboy hat when driving a vehicle. there's not a really good way to keep an expensive hat from being damaged when you take it off to drive your car.A hats odd shape and size make it hard to protect in a vehicle.
