If this worked according to the specs listed on this site this would have been exactly what I needed. I have two 100W solar panels and two deep cycle lead acid batteries on my camper. Each panel will put out a little over 5 amps on a clear day.I connected the controllers one at a time to each fully charged battery and ground then connected the solar panels as per instructions. Once the voltage exceeded 15V the green charge LED started to flash but the controller continued to pump 5 Amps into the batteries. I left my older battery connected and watched it go beyond 17V and there was still 3.5A going in.I verified that there was nothing wrong with the wiring and eventually had to give up and return these. I'm very disappointed these didn't work for me and I feel I wasted too much time on them. I have a couple of other controllers on hand that both work but are not waterproof. I'll have to start over with something else.

Seems to work well.only just started using it for the past month. Kept my RV battery topped off at Approx 13.5VI had this connected to a 340W Solar Panel ( big one typically found on houses ) and while I agree with others comments about the wire being the BARE MINIMUM for the current, I never once felt the wires get warm while in use.I can't comment on the AUX connection as I haven't used that part of the charge controller yet. If I do and find anything worth commenting I will edit this review.

I have my doubts about whether it would actually handle 20 amps with the light wire that it comes with.

easy, simple, compact and waterproof...works well for the boat for recharging the trolling motor batteries when out on the water. Would have been 5 stars, but I found the leads a little small, would have preferred a bigger gauge of wire, so make sure to keep the controller as close to the batteries as possible

Ultra simple.Ultra compact.Waterproof.Excellent quality silicon wires for connections.Easy to hook up.Biggest plus for me was the ability to hook up a higher voltage solar panel (mine was 39V to a 12V battery. Most inexpensive controllers will only work with 24V battery systems for that input voltage.Many discard this unit as an option because it has no LCD to display things. The reality of a solar system is you set it up and forget about it until something goes wrong. 99.99% of the time you never look at the LCD. It has LEDs that tell the charge status, battery hookup status, load status and solar input status that work fine to give you an at a glance status and if you need more information get out your multimeter and read some voltages. Along the same lines as set it and forget it, do you need bluetooth? Rarely.Only complaint is I feel the wires could be heavier gauge.Love it!I have used multiple of these fir a whole summer now. They just work.I had a question about current limiting (the answer was yes you have to limit solar panel input current to below 20A) and the seller responded within hours.Great product. Great support.
