I purchased 2 of these. Within 6 months the metal tip detached from the plastic housing. Trying a different brand to see if it’s a quality problem or a general problem with these type of mechanical pencils. I’m a framer and I do abuse them yet changing a pencil every 6 months isn’t cost efficient. I’ll go back to the wooden pencil. The lead seems to last me a few weeks (as long as a regular carpenter pencil would would last)

The pencil is good but the sharpener stopped sharpening before my first lead wore out. I’d give them a better review if they had answered my request for a replacement sharpener but as of now they still haven’t said anything. I’ll have to return these ones and buy from another seller.
