Those inkless pencils are amazing. I haven't seen them before this order and is surpised that it does not need sharpening and it just works! The pencil's marking are not very dark but looks like other pencil markings, more like a 4H pencil. But 4H pencil can do a bit darker if you push hard.So far not running into any issues and I can recommend those as pencil alternatives.

I’m much more impressed by these inkless metal pencils that I thought I’d be.They work very well and look like pencil markings. They erase very well, too, with both the erasure tips that come on the end of each, and a regular erasure you’d use on traditional pencils.I had also been concerned because research into other ones that are on the market had reviewers commenting on who they were scratchy on the paper. I did not find this to be the case with these. They honestly were just like using a regular pencil.What I like about them is that I can rely on it always making a good mark and will use these for signing my art prints. I know I can depend on it giving me a good mark and its tip won’t break or chip leaving a wide or double line.They are much lighter than a regular pencil and come with a cap. You have to push the cap down a little harder than expected for it to stay on the eraser end (for when you’re using the pencil but want to make sure the cap doesn’t get lost).You can use different pressure to get different intensities of line. Lighter pressure will give you a lighter line, more pressure will give a darker line.I found that you could also use it for sketching and drawing. With different pressure, you can do shading, but you won’t be able to smudge it (a drawback for art use but good for regular pencil use like note-taking).I think it’s great that there are 30 of them in a pack and for the price, it’s a good value. It’s something I’ll want to have handy everywhere for use. My only complaint is that each is individually wrapped in a plastic sleeve. I really don’t see why that is necessary.But otherwise, I highly recommend them. I hope this helps.
