They work. It is easy to use. The handles are wide when it is in the ready position so, you may need both hands. The metal is OK and it should hold up for what it was designed for. I do like the extra reach it offers.

Tried several different external snap ring pliers to remove the hubs, u joints, and ball joints on my 06 F250. Long story short, this is the ONLY pair that would work on the Devil's snap rings in that front end.
