The pic tells a thousand words. Three compasses all pointing in different directions. 1 worked on arrival, the others didn’t. Ironically, the 3 whistle compasses did work. Kept the product because I could let my young kids play with them without worrying about breaking them. I definitely bought a different product and brand for when a compass is actually needed.Also, my nephew’s cub scout troop bought from the same vendor, half didn’t work.

I had to add a small amount of silicon grease to make the dial move smoothly but, aside from that, they work great. Very good value, same model as other brands.
