These are very nice. My plants seem happier to have the slow release of water. I like the wide opening. It makes it easier to water and you can see when they need filled up.

Super cute and much easier to refill than the usual water bulbs. No clogging which is a big bonus. Would purchase again.

These are really cute and they work well. I used them while on vacation by placing a water bottle on top for my house plants. While they may not be suitable for long-term use, they performed excellently for the week we were away. However, since the plants ran out of water, I'm not sure how long they would last without additional watering before the plants start to die. They are useful for people who forget to water.

I have had to wash these a couple of times and the paint comes off pretty easily even with hand washing. I completely removed it in spots on one of them using the scrubby side of a regular sponge. Once I realized that was happening I switched to only using the spongey side but even then I see a couple of spots that are starting to wear through on the others. They also seem to attract mold/slime, hence the washing. I have them in a bowl of violas, which I don't think are a particularly slimy plant? I also have different ceramic watering spikes in a variety of plants that don't have that problem at all and I have never had to wash any of those. The only difference I can think of is that the other ones have a glossy finish on the outside/top while these are more matte. The paint rubbing off also makes me think that these aren't really sealed on top and water seeping through might be contributing to the slime. I think I'm going to have to replace these soon with a different style. The watering spike on these is also pretty wide so the water only lasts a few days even when using all four at the same time. This is fine for my purposes because I am using them mostly to avoid top watering (the violas don't like it) and to keep the fungus gnats down by not having moist soil on the top inch. But its definitely something to think about if you want to use these for vacation or to avoid watering often. The other ones I have that look sort of like a vase have a much skinnier spike and they only need to be filled once a week or every other week depending on the plant. On a related note, these don't come with any kind of cover or cap and the opening at top is wide so evaporation could be a problem.
