It seems to be well made and is very soft kind of satin or similar material and it worked well and was absorbent.

I misplaced my silk swab, so purchased these. They are very absorbent, but the swab is somewhat large for the mouthpiece. I wouldn’t swab out a clarinet mouthpiece with this swab for fear of damaging it, since they are delicate. I am using the silk for the mouthpiece, and this for the body of the instrument.

Daughter started learning clarinet at school. Nice colour. Cheap enough, and does the job it's supposed to do.Good buy.

This is wonderful! I am not looking to take my clarinet apart and clean the moisture out of each individual section every time I play it. With this, I take the Reed off, wash it and set it aside to dry; then I run the swab down the length if the clarinet from bell to mouth piece and out. It's done! All the pads (that are closed,) and the entire interior are wiped dry. Like using a shamise on your car after washing it. You can rinse it out occasionally to keep it clean. Wonderful! Also, less stress on the corks. Very happy with it. I bought 4. If necessary, I could get one wet and run it through, (say, if I were drinking beer while playing it,) and then run a dry one through after that.I found the weighted string to be too short. I tied a 👞 string to it to make it longer so that when I put it in at the bell it come out the mouth piece to grab ahold of it. Works good. PW
