Couldn't get the engine started after replacing the carburetor. It turns out that the float needle was not installed properly. It was just sitting in the bottom of the bowl. And upon pulling the bowl, I found the bowl gasket had been damaged during assembly.

Not a good experience. I put this on my Tecumseh engine and was unable to start it. I verified fuel flow and that gas was in the carburetor bowl, but it still didn't work. I sprayed some starting fluid into the engine and it started and ran for a few seconds, I did this a few more times and each time it would run and shut off. I figured out that no fuel was being pulled into the carburetor at all. The carburetor also had some minor issues with the throttle. When the governor on the motor tried to pull the throttle plate all the way open it would stick at different places. Then if you snapped it back and forth a few times the throttle would go above the stop and go past full open. At this point I quit trying to make it work / fix the issues. I put a different carburetor on it and it starts and runs just fine now. I did not give it 1 star as the air filter, fuel valve, and fuel filter seemed to be fine.

I like the fact that this comes with the extras as shown >>> the Fuel Filter, the Fuel Shut Off Valve, Spark Plug and Air Filter not to mention the Gasket...over all the package deal can't be beat.It is an exact replica of the original and fits right on my Coleman 5000 Generator with the 10 HP Tecumseh Engine = AWESOME!!!
