With an extensive house plant collection, this invariably contains at least a few plants that seem to need watering just when you least expect it. And worse, some of these plants are the variety that dislike going dry, ever. So these watering bulbs are meant to help me out with just this issue. I will take issue that they are described as large volume, but in the cases where I feel I need the plant needs access to more water, I can simply put 2 of these in the pot as they are generally a larger plant. But having said that these are a good sized watering bulb being larger than some I have been gifted. I am also hoping that with the water not being applied to the surface of the soil for these select plants, this will help to reduce and control the fungus gnat issues I am attempting to eliminate (control?). I am thrilled at how decorative these bulbs are. The iridescent glass is gorgeous under the grow lights and the design is so pretty! It might have been fun to have the stoppers in colours to mimic the centres of flowers. But just to have stoppers is great as not all my gifted ones have had that feature. These stoppers will reduced evaporation and stop gnats venturing in the top to expire in the water. Am also quite impressed at the thickness and quality of the glass so far, having had no issues with pushing these into the potting mix. Very happy with these watering bulbs!

Way too fragile, really useless, I already broke two of them. Better get the plastic one, holds same amount of water, does the same job, and looks cute too.

These waterers are very fragile glass; it's very thin and sharp. easy to arrive broken. (2/6 arrived in bad condition) wrap tips in cotton fabric to prevent water from rushing out as fast. rubber stoppers are essential for use. do not recommend for a home with children or active pets (or clumsy adults)

I feel bad. I have to return them because I received them and I need the rubber stoppers to prevent the water from leaking out so fast.
