It does what it is build for and does it well! My car battery was completely dead. I hooked up this charger and it slowly charged my battery from dead over 2 days.

I use this to maintain a charge on stored vehicles, and it seems to work really well even in the very cold weather we've been having.

Casing is strong. Wires long enough, that's good. You have to choose between 6 and 12 volt then plug it in. Only concern is test of time

I've been using this Unocho 6V 12V Battery Charger for a couple of months now, and boy, do I have some thoughts. First off, let me set the scene: I'm the kind of person who has a garage full of gadgets and gizmos aplenty, you know, cars, motorcycles, a boat, and yes, even a lawnmower that's older than the internet. So, when I say I need a battery charger, I'm not messing around. This little Unocho charger looked promising right out of the box. It's compact, light as a feather, and looked like it wouldn't take up much space in my already cluttered garage. Plus, the promise of intelligent 5-stage automatic charging had me thinking, "Finally, a charger that's smarter than my smartphone."Now, let's dive into the good stuff. The safety features on this charger are like a helicopter parent for your battery - it's got everything from reverse polarity protection to overheating safeguards. Basically, if you're prone to mistakes or just paranoid about causing a short circuit, this charger has got your back.Compatibility-wise, it's pretty much the universal remote of battery chargers. It didn't matter what I hooked it up to; it adapted faster than a chameleon. Cars, boats, ATVs, you name it. The LED indicators made it easy to tell what was going on, even for someone who doesn't want to read a novel of a manual to figure out what each blink means. However, it's not all rainbows and butterflies. The lack of a detailed user manual had me scratching my head a few times. It's like they assume you were born knowing how to use this thing. And the lack of a built-in handle? An oversight, in my opinion. Sometimes it's the little things, you know? So, would I recommend the Unocho 6V 12V Battery Charger? Yes, with a few caveats. It's like that one friend who's incredibly reliable but sometimes oversteps with their "helpful" advice. If you can overlook its few quirks, it's a solid piece of kit that'll keep your battery-powered life running smoothly. Just maybe keep a manual from another charger handy, for those times when you wish Unocho had given you a bit more to go on.

I hooked up this trickle charger to the battery in my Honda Grom motorcycle. Once I had it all attached the battery charger would not work. I assume maybe a bad in-line fuse or the wires were internally broken. All of my tests showed no problem there.I then did a test on two different lawn tractor batteries with the alligator clips and the charger lit up nicely and begin to charge. I then assumed maybe it will not work if the battery in the Honda is also connected. I then hooked up the alligator clips to the battery and it worked so I knew then that no problem if the battery is hooked up to the circuit.I checked my ring connectors and being so big I got thinking that there may not be a solid connection. I found the ring connectors are way too big for the tiny screw and took them off and installed spade terminals which are nice as one only has to loosen the screw and not take it out, as in the Honda Grom there is almost no room to remove the screw and one has to lift the battery partially out. After I installed the cable with the spade terminals the charger worked perfectly as I now have a very solid connection.I found that my cable from the AC receptacle to the motorcycle was about a foot to short. I then cut off a foot from the alligator cable and inserted that into my short cable to make it longer. When charging the trickle charger sucks up 12 Watts but when it is just monitoring the battery it uses 1.2 Watts
