This rear seat cam comes boxed with accessories. Wires and instructions are included but It took me a fair bit of setting up, with the screen up front and the camera pointing back. Wires are included but because the camera attaches to the headrest, you need an adjustable one, there's nowhere to attach it if your seat is all one piece. A few more mounting options would have been welcome.Picture quality isn't 4K but is still full HD so very clear, with night vision working well too. Build quality seems very good, with power provided by a cigarette lighter attachment and connections firm and stable. So far it has been working well so overall I am very happy with this back seat camera.

Besonders gefällt mir, dass die Nachtsicht automatisch anspringt und das Baby nicht durch Innenbeleuchtung gestört wird. Der große 7-Zoll-Monitor sorgt für einen guten Überblick und die 178°-Weitwinkel-Kamera deckt den Rücksitz vollständig ab.Kleiner Abzug für die Stromversorgung: Leider läuft das System nur über den Zigarettenanzünder – ein USB-Anschluss wäre deutlich flexibler gewesen. Da wir sehr oft unterwegs sind und auch unsere Hündin meist immer dabei ist, habe ich mich für dieses Set entschieden um immer einen Blick auf sie zu haben. Da es in der Vergangenheit schon häufiger vorgekommen ist das sich unsere Hünin während der Fahrt übergeben muste ist dies die bessere Alternative sie besser im Blick zu haben und um schnell handeln zu können sollte es ihr schlecht gehen. Der Monitor ist dank Saugfuss sehr schnell montiert und die Kamera kann einfach mit dem beiligendem Befestigungsmaterial an der Hundebox befestigt werden das Kabel der Kamera an den Monitor geklemmt und die Stromversorgung an den Ziegarettenanzünder und schon kann die Überwachung stattfinden. Die Kamera und auch der Monitor mit 7" liefern ein sehr gutes Bild und auch im Dunkeln kann man alles sehr gut erkennen und sehen. Aber auch Kleinkinder sind damit gut zu beobachten, und was ganz wichtig ist damit man sich nicht ständig umdrehen muss somit hat man auch während der Fahrt ein Auge nach hinten und kann sich trotzdem gut auf den Verkehr konzentrieren ohne ihn zu gefärden, was es sehr empfehlenswert macht.

This is a great camera that works well.It is easy to set up, and it has a clear image. At night the image is also pretty clear making it nice to see what the kids are up to.I like the screen mount which can be mounted on the dashboard or the windshield.Great product.

Before electronics became inexpensive enough to produce gadgets like this we had to rely on mirrors to attempt to see what our baby was doing in that back seat. Rear facing car seats were especially challenging. The view was sub-optimal to say the least. Well, technology to the rescue.This is a package that consists of a small display screen, 7 inch in this case, a small camera, a lighter adapter for power and the hardware to mount these components. This is a fully wired system and the wire from the camera needs to reach all the way to the lighter socket. That may be a challenge if you have a large car, SUV or mini-van. It should be fine for most small sedans.The system is powered via a lighter socket. Most cars still have these, but some more modern electric vehicles may not have these. Make sure that you have an available lighter socket. The power adapter has an on off switch and there is also an on / off switch at the back of the screen. The only other controls are brightness up and down.Connecting the parts isn't very hard, but it would be a little easier if there were alignment marks on the plugs for the camera and screen. The plugs fit snugly so they shouldn't work their way loose on their own.The picture is pretty clear, not as clear as the simulated photos in the description, but it does the job.The camera has IR lights that come on on their own when the system senses that it is dark outside. There is no control over this.

Okay, so I didn’t actually mean to order this 7" Baby Car Camera—I was aiming for a security cam instead. But since I don’t have a baby to use it for, I decided to play around with it anyway. I have to say, this is a well-built and impressive product.The camera works perfectly, and the setup is straightforward. While it’s not what I needed, I can totally see it being an excellent choice for parents wanting to keep an eye on their little one in the car. If you’re actually looking for a baby camera, I’d give this a 10/10 recommend!

So I got two of these, one this big and then another with a 4.1" screen and finally got them installed! I prefer the bigger screen but I can appreciate the small size too as in it takes up less of your dash/windshield space. It has excellent clarity and is simple to turn off & on. I left the installing to my husband because I hate trying to find where I can hide all of the cords, but he did a great job hiding them along the middle console. He didn't complain about installing either of them so it can't have been that bad! I wish it turned on & off with the car so I didn't have to try to remember another button but its hard to forget a bright screen on your dash I guess & all of these baby cameras seem to operate this way. If you want a bigger screen - this is the one to go with!Only thing is we didn’t get the threaded knob that is used to secure the monitor to the suction cup. We were using the one from the smaller camera and now that we have decided to place in both cars, we realized the piece is missing and cant hold the camera without it.

I set up this baby car camera in my SUV to keep an eye on my newborn in the backseat. The line is long enough, and I even had some extra to fold. The installation was a breeze, taking just a few minutes without any tools. The camera is securely attached to the headrest, and the monitor is easily connected to the dashboard. The image quality is just okay from my point of view, but one thing I appreciate is the automatic night vision, which switches based on ambient light levels. This means I don't have to turn on interior lights and disturb my baby while driving at night. The only downside is that there's too much line for my liking, but I guess that's the same with other baby car cameras. I do like that it's 7" and bigger than the others.Overall, this baby car camera is a great investment for new parents, providing peace of mind and ensuring the safety of our little one during car rides. Honestly, it's way more effective than those traditional baby backseat mirrors if you can make it work with your budget.

This camera is pretty handy! Saves me from a neck turn for sure! Installation is actually straightforward and easy. The night-vision is very nice as it gets pretty dark out during the winter days. The monitor isn't good but it's enough to get the point across. Rather have it than not.

Der kleine Babymonitor fürs Auto ist an sich ganz praktisch und eine interessante Idee, um z. B. Kinder auf der Rückbank während der Fahrt gut im Blick zu haben. Die Installation verlief problemlos und unkompliziert.Allerdings gibt es ein paar Schwächen, besonders bei den Lichtverhältnissen. Sobald das Display direkter Sonneneinstrahlung ausgesetzt ist, erkennt man fast nichts mehr auf dem Bildschirm – hier sollte man genau auf die Positionierung achten, um direkte Sonneneinstrahlung zu vermeiden.Ebenso schwächelt die Kamera in der Dunkelheit erheblich. Zwar besitzt sie Infrarot-LEDs (die man auch deutlich sieht), doch bei meinem Gerät zeigen diese kaum Wirkung – möglicherweise liegt hier bei meinem Exemplar ein Defekt vor.Spaßeshalber hatte ich die Kamera auch mal in meinem Transporter eingesetzt, um den toten Winkel abzudecken. Dabei zeigte sich, dass sie für diesen Zweck tagsüber bei gutem Wetter durchaus brauchbar ist, solange das Display entsprechend schattig platziert ist.Zusammengefasst ist der Monitor als einfache Tageslichtkamera brauchbar, allerdings nur eingeschränkt bei Dunkelheit oder Sonneneinstrahlung. Wer ihn hauptsächlich tagsüber und geschützt positioniert nutzt, wird durchaus zufrieden sein.

EDIT: I need to edit my review after using this for about a week during the day. The color gets really washed out in certain light and loses features. The night camera is good that you can see the baby, but the day camera quality is a bit grainy. My main complaint is about the wash out of features. I cant sit there and adjust brightness when im driving whenever the sun shines in the back, etc. For that I will lower my rating.I purchased two of these. This one I'll be using for our larger car. My photo isn't the best, but the picture was taken when it was dark in the car to show you how it looks at night. Resolution is good. Set up was fast.My only complaint is there are a ton of wires, but I guess the alternative would be taking the stuff off to charge - which is also a hassle.The mount for the monitor is stable and sticks well. The strap for the camera is tight and also very stable.
