These water painting books are not great, though the quality varies a lot. Some of the books (the ones with thicker pages) seemed to be a bit better than the others. Most of them got scratched up after the first use, making them almost unusable. I purchased these for some birthday party goody bags, so the low price was nice. But otherwise, I can't really recommend.

I like the variety of books, something for everyone, cute pictures! These pens work really well, they don't scrape the pages at all! I highly recommend this particular one, as other sets had pens that scrape the pics. The pics are quite hidden until you paint them and then they dry white again so you can redo them. I just love these and the kids love them too! I would definitely buy again, money well spent!

This is very short lived fun. The books are great as a party favor or as medical office prices or something like that, but they do not last long. They don't go back to original even after first use and will only give a few uses before they are unusable. The pens have some quality control issues and the pages stick together when wet. I do like that they come individually wrapped for giving as loot prizes or whatever but I do wish they lasted a bit longer.

So happy with these water colouring books!! 2 year old really loves them. Her favourite way to use them is as an 'I spy' book where she only finds and colours the figures that are shown on the left page. Occasionally she will colour the whole page. She also enjoys getting a bit of water on her hand and "finger painting" to make the colours appear. Lots of ways these books can be enjoyed! And best of all, the water dries pretty quickly and then the books can be reused again later.They are a great mess-free way for kids to be artistic. They are perfect for using at home, in the car, at restaurants, or anywhere else because they don't make a mess and the only supplies needed are the book and the pen.These books would be great to add to goodie bags for kids parties because they are individually wrapped and each come with their own pen.We found that one of the pens didn't work as well as the others, I guess it just didn't become as saturated as others. But for our use, she doesn't need all 9 so that is fine!Definitely recommend for any young boys or girls!

I received these little books yesterday and, of course, had to try them out. The marker included is very easy to fill with water and does not drip or leak, that I could see. Once done with it though, I would remove the water so that the water doesn't bleed out of the marker if the tip touches anything.The pictures in the books are nice and vibrant when you reveal them with the marker and I can see young kids really enjoying them. My granddaughter is 5 and loves coloring. These will be a great - non messy - craft for her to do when when comes to visit us. I never have to worry about markers drying out and there are enough books to provide a good variety for her.I did notice though, that because the temperature was extremely warm yesterday, that the picture started drying at the top where I started before I had finished "coloring" the whole picture. (Approximately 1 minute after starting to "color") This may pose an issue if it always does this. The picture wouldn't stay long enough for her to show someone what she had uncovered. This is my main reason for giving it 4 stars. I will have to try it out on a cooler day to see if this continues and the picture doesn't stay visible for the 5-10 minutes that they advertise. Other than that, they are a great addition to a child's craft time.
