I don't know how the name brand decks work, but this one is pretty cool. Using the tools that the software offers can do quite a bit for you, but I have created a bunch of AutoHotKeys scripts that this can trigger as well. Now I can have buttons call the script files and do almost anything I want. So, out of the box, it can do cool stuff, but if you are comfortable with other scripting tools, the world is your oyster. It only has fifteen buttons, but you actually get much more than that by using folders and different "scenes". I haven't found the limit to the number of buttons I can use yet. It gives you a full suite of icons and backgrounds to use, but I created my own because I can never remember what icons mean; it's very easy to add your own.I only gave it four stars because someone who isn't comfortable with scripting may find it has limited functionality - but seriously, give it a try. It's WAY cheaper than the main name brand.

I bought this as a cheaper alternative to the Elgato Stream Deck and was pleasantly surprised to find that this device was capable of doing everything that I wanted out of a Stream Deck for half the price. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for the same capability but on a budget.

The software takes a minute to get used to and figure out how to work, but once you figure it out, I see a little to no difference Other than deck being a bit easier to use works just like a stream deck can do everything from open applications to run timers

Like my headline says,it is definitely not the name brand you want, but if your not looking for a market full of pay apps like elgatos plugins for their stream deck can have. This is for you,it can use some of the scripts and set ups the elgato would, being able to import them, but buttons cant display animated icons or reactive so its more useful as a short cut or hotkey dock. Ive sat up plenty with this,i use it to make scene transitions and manage my streams from hotkeys, in my downtime im able to use it to control spotify to pick playlists, skip songs etc. Theres even some soundboard functionalities. If your looking to use it for gaming, i just wouldnt. There are 0 presets so you are making all your set ups, and the options for games it works with would be anything with kb hotkey presses really, but for creators i think its an alright add on the budget. Also bare in mind, i know i left this at the end, but being its not elgato,it does use its own "ajazz" software, ive used it for months though with out any viruses or issues to impact on performance.

🔎 Overview 🔍I currently have the AJazz AKP153 stream deck connected to my Mac desktop as a way to conveniently access certain programs or website! In terms of configurability, it is easy to set up but also for certain functionality, it is not the most easily configured and takes a bit of learning. The screen on the side is not very useful and to configure what it displays is also not intuitive (It only displays 24 hour time and the weather). The buttons themself are very nicely made and have a good tactile feel to them when pressed and its very responsive to open the program that was selected. My biggest gripe with the deck is that even when you sleep your computer, the screen on the deck never fully turns off. You can set the background as black but the backlighting remains on 24/7. Overall I would say to get the original stream deck over this to get better and more customizable functionality.✅ Pros ✅- Easy to set up- Super responsive and tactile buttons- Customizable icons on the deck- Bright display❌ Cons ❌- Not the most customizable- No gifs on the deck- Display screen on the right has little to no function

This product is a good device for those who need a programmable button keypad that has the ability to show an icon via LCD. The device works well, looks good with clear images and has many programs it works with amd can be programmed for pretty much any program action or device. The downside is that this device does lack some development as per the accessory applications lackluster and unpolished feel and operation. There is many times a noticeable 2 second or so delay that can occur between pressing the button and the action transpiring not an issue of the computer (high end hardware) nor connection (USB4 port). The box is c9mpact and east to place on a computer or besides a monitor. There are many programmable buttons along with side LCD panels that can show different information like CPU temperatures or load (requires accessory application to configure). This product is very useful for certain games, streamers, users of many software, financial and stock applications, video or image editing, productivity software and many other usage scenarios

I use this as hotkeys for a programming environment. I was able to add hotkeys for editing files, syntax check, compiling, debugging, etc. There are lots of options in the program used to set up the keys, but it only took a short while to figure it out. There are third-party plugins and icon packs available that can be installed in the setup program. I used one plugin and it worked well.I really like the "Info Display" feature, which is three additional displays (not buttons) that can show date/time, weather, and computer status such as CPU load, temperature, memory and disk usage, etc.I think this is a capable alternative to the Elgato Stream Deck with some additional features and a lower price.

Physical Hardware:Looks very nice. Buttons feel good to press. Nice bright screen. Overall looked REALLY nice sitting on my desk.Software/Marketplace:While the software may look and act like the official Elgato marketplace/product, with even SOME of the same plugins Elgato offers... some of the big names MOST streamers will need or want (BarRaider amirite?) WILL NOT work with A.JAZZ. I have talked directly to the developers through their official discord to confirm they do not and cannot support their plugins with non-Elgato products. The A.JAZZ software crashed every time I attempted to setup any function from any of the BarRaider plugins.I thoroughly went through EVERY plugin currently available on the A.JAZZ marketplace and not one offers what BarRaider does. In fact, not one other plugin allowed me to setup a button for pre-made commands (shoutout, ban, hype etc.). So, it's a 2 star for me.** This might be a great product for non-streamers. Maybe people who are working from home and need it for other purposes. But it certainly is not my recommendation for a streamer. **

I wanted to like this clone of the Stream Deck (not to be confused with the Steam Deck) as it seemed like a cheap(er) clone of the 15-button version 2 (50% cheaper if bought on sale), but it has some major flaws that I couldn't overcome to like it -- it may work for your workflow. For starters, the official Elgato Stream Decks are relatively simple in their build featuring an LCD panel, controller chip, a rubber membrane (for the button spring action), and a resistive film .. that's it. Nothing magical to it, each "button" is just a section of the screen graphically, but they are not individual screens as some may think. This configuration allowed the device to do what other devices in the past could not -- have changeable button graphics without the huge expense associated with individual mini-panels, while also giving the tactile feedback that users desired (compared to just using a tablet). This allowed Elgato (now owned by Corsair) to command the market and set the price. The AJazz device is constructed the same way (see attached screenshots), almost like it came out of the same factory in China. The software you use to configure the display appears to be a clone of the Elgato software version 5, hence why the Elgato plugins work if you know how to copy them into the folder. The LCD panel seems to be of the same quality, the feedback from the buttons is pretty close to the official, and the key plastic feels good -- the only minor difference I can see is the key tops are flat for the AJazz, but have a slight concave for better ergonomics on the Elgato. The spacing between the keys are identical on both my devices. That sounds all good, so what's the problem? The fact that the majority of this devices plugin ecosystem is likely to rely on the Elgato plugin ecosystem means that Elgato has every motivation to combat this practice and I suspect that's why some reviews have said the plugin store disappeared for them. AJazz could release updates and the cat/mouse game could proceed, but given the fact that they don't even make acquiring the English version of the software as easy as it should be leads me to speculate this device won't have a long support cycle. I expect Elgato will introduce some form of DRM/license check into their plugin API's going forward (if they haven't already). The negative of this is that your AJazz device has a good probability of being limited to a specific version. But I hear you .. the price is so good, I can live with using old versions and never updating. Sure, you probably can. Functionality wise, the device seemed to perform almost on par with my Elgato as long as you're running an action from the view (e.g. your current view -> button press -> send's hotkey) you are on, but if you start getting into nested profiles and folders, the AJazz falls behind performance wise (again, I suspect this is where many reviewers highlight a "delay" issue). I measured the delay to be upwards of 1-2 seconds to refresh to a folder in some instances. In comparison, the Elgato does this in about 200ms or less. For my workflow which involves using folders/profiles as mini-menu's (think a comma-rose or flyout menu) for nested commands, this is a deal breaker for me. For someone who just wants to have 15 hotkeys on the screen, this is probably a manageable limitation. It's possible they could fix this in a firmware update, but I would not count on it.3/5 stars for the value and build quality. It lost stars for the cumbersome way you have to acquire the software / chance you won't have long support, and the slow refresh.
