If I could give it zero stars, I would. I highly do not recommend for anyone to purchase this. When I used it, it melted the water pump on my boat because it was improperly supplying water

I did not like the way it came with the nipple attached. I assumed that it was part of the item I should use. After wasting too much time trying to attach it to my hose, I realized the nipple was not needed and then I easily attached the muff to my motor. I turned on the water and motor and was relieved to see water coming out the side of the motor (pissing), which is why I purchased this item. It was a much firmer fit than my old muff . So I am very happy with this purchase.

Leaks water from hose/gasket connection even though tightened as tight as possible. Not very good clamping/suction strength for a Johnson Evinrude lower unit. Water leaks majorly through the sides of the muffs. Will have to buy a different brand of muffs. I've bought other good items from this company, unfortunately this was not one of them.
