I'm on my second planting in this set this spring, having just put the first set of seedlings in pots. I used 30mm peat pellets, which work very nicely. This set seems very durable and reusable to me. The covers do not really attach, they just sort of sit on top, so be aware of that: if you need the covers to attach firmly you'll need to use packing tape or bungees or something. For my purposes, these work very well.

I am now convinced that this size seed tray is much more manageable than the larger trays. This brand is very durable and less likely to crack than the other brands I’ve used. I will be ordering more next season for sure

I bought these trays because they came in a pack with a lot of spaces, a self watering tray and vented cover for a reasonable price. They were just as pictured. It is sturdy enough to reuse them all season. We will see how they next year out of the elements, in my shed. I would buy them again.

Strong sturdy planting cells feel rugged and should be good to use for a good few years. Dome is a little weak in comparison but still more sturdy than anything you can buy at the stores around here.

My biggest issue with these has to be the size of the hole in the bottom of the seed cells. Since it's a full sheet if some of your seedlings need pulled at different times you don't have the option to flip the tray to remove it like you would on a single cell. The method I found to work, all be it not well, was to use a pencil to push the cells contents out from the bottom. The hole wasn't large enough to easily fit the pencil but it worked ok. If it was large enough to fit a finger in that would be great.The lids did well to hold moisture in during the germination period and the trays held water for bottom watering. It was a good way to learn and I will still be using these, but they won't be my only trays next season.
