✅ The adhesive on the back of the rubber strip is very tacky. It should adhere to most prepared surfaces.✅ The rubber is thick enough to protect another surface that might experience mechanical force like a door strike.✅ The adhesive can be removed without leaving a stain or residue.❌ Beware that the rubber is brittle if it is bent too far (e.g. 90 degrees). It will fracture like an old tire from the 1950s.❌ Due to the brittleness, I am not confident that it would last against direct sunlight exposure over time.❌ The off-gassing is noticeable. Probably best to keep away from children.❌ The rubber is quite dense. Perhaps don't expect it to keep moisture out of a seal.SUMMARY:If you need to protect a struck surface, then this product might be able to help ease the blow or reduce damage caused by friction. Overall, application of the product might be limited.
