This is the second lamp I've purchased from this vendor. The first one is still working well past it's time, although not as bright and vibrant as when new. The second lamp expired way before it's time, so I put the old one back in. Went to contact seller for replace as it was under 200 days as advertised and can't find and seller information and Amazon order says return window has closed. Tried product support as I'm supposedly eligible, nothing but a run around. Any help available? Just want a replacement lamp as I was happy with the first one.

This light bulb has bring my BenQ project back to live! I didn't expect it could be fixed and looks like a brand new again. In my case I do need to take off the light bulb and installed by using the original wiring frame due to incompatible sizes issue. It is working perfectly after!

Received last December 27 2023 as a replacement bulb for my projector. As usual I clean / dust out throughly before installing new bulb. The package came with white glove which I was impressed with.First run, the brightness was 3/5, OK for projection in a med dark room. Projector is used no more than 2 hours when it's being used, once or twice a week frequently. On Feb 9, 2024, I turned on the projector and found bulb had exploded inside light housing. No broken glasses came outside but This was discovered about 10 days after the return window was closed. Contacted seller and waiting for response (been 1 week). Packaging and quality seemed good. but if this is the quality

This was my 2nd bulb from this supplier. Used in a BenQ HT1075. The first failed after around 30 hours, I thought it was a one-off so exchanged for another. This one failed in under 15 hours. These are obviously junk even though the bulb included does indeed say "OSRAM" on it. Stay away!

Works like the original. I don’t see any difference than the oem bulb. Installation was easy. The connector seems a bit lose, but it was sufficient for a solid connection. 2 weeks in, it’s working like a charm.

Overall, I'm impressed so far.I love my projector and was so disappointed when the bulb went out right before family came to visit for Thanksgiving. Sure, the OEM lamp (bulb and housing) were available at the maker's site (BenQ) but at $249 plus shipping, it seemed so expensive and slow. Over to Amazon and tons of choices and prices, but really unclear as to which would be "best." This one says it's an OEM bulb in a generic housing, making it a good compromise between the manufacturer and 3rd party products. It was confirmed to fit my projector.It arrived with clear enough instructions and installed easily.But what's impressive is that the old bulb had become less bright, so that new-bulb brightness is fantastic.And for the price, amazing.I've seen a lot of lamp reviews suggesting that longevity might be an issue, but as this is an OEM bulb, the vendor says they stand behind their product, my initial thought is that this is a great choice. Time will tell as I don't use the projector daily, but so far, it's great.

The bulb worked just fine when I installed it. No problems whatsoever. However, just less than 5 months and with not many hours of use, it just died.

We had problems with the original lamp we purchased, but the seller (Araca) made it right. The lamp preformed as expected until one day it prematurely stopped working (after about 2 months of use). We notified Araca and they responded to our concern, accepted responsibility, and provided us a replacement under the terms of their advertised warranty. This was both a pleasure and a surprise as many companies do not act with the integrity that Araca did. Upon installation of the 2nd bulb (which was sent out quickly!) we determined that the the first one had been in operation less than 150 hours. We installed the replacement bulb and it seemed to work fine - unfortunately for only 9 hours - then it too stopped working. After contacting Araca again, they immediately sent out another replacement. There was no indication why the bulb stopped working (there was no noticeable "burn out" or broken glass, just the red light on the projector). We installed the 2nd replacement (the 3rd bulb/lamp from Araca) and it has been working well so far. One of the big reasons we decided to purchase an Araca bulb for our BenQ projector was because of their promise of a "200 day replacement warranty". We are long time projector users and use ours daily, so we understand that projector lamps can and do fail prematurely, regardless of whether they are low or high priced. Our concern was validated by the failures we experienced, but what we did not expect was that the company would show so much integrity by both honoring the warranty, and by providing excellent communication and customer service and we greatly appreciate that. All we can say is that "so far so good" with the 3rd bulb. But be aware that it has only been a couple of months and only been in use a few hundred hours. Projector lamps of this type should last a couple of thousand hours, so we will wait and see. We will do business with Araca again when the time comes (in a year or two, not sooner, hopefully), and we recommend that others do the same if they want to have confidence in a company and their product.UPDATE 2/11/2021. Darn it. The replacement (the 3rd one Araca sent us) has just failed as well after just a month or so in service. There is definitely a problem with their product as both the original lamp, and the first replacement purchased from BenQ lasted 1 to 2 years). We notified Araca today and are awaiting their response. We think they will get back to us quickly as they always have before. Unfortunately the product quality and reliability does not match their service. We anticipate that they will either refund our purchase price or send out another one. I will update this after we hear back.

After working faithfully for 6 years (3500 hrs clocked), my OEM bulb busted couple of days ago. While searching for replacement in amazon, I found this one. After reading reviews, I decided to buy it. Came to me on the same day, installation was easy and straight forward (watched video in youtube so don't know about the instruction in this package). It took just 10 minutes to remove old and install new. It was an exact match for my model (1080ST). Brightness is really good. it is been only 2 hours of use, so only time will tell how long it will last. So far, really happy with the purchase.

The lamp had an original Osram bulb which was the same as the original lamp. The picture quality was just as good as origanal lamp. Was able to get 2985hrs out of that lamp. The lamp was package great and had all instructions included. Easy to install only one screw. Bulbs also came with a mini screwdriver for that screw. Great bulb.

My last bulb blew up on a Saturday evening. Ordered new bulb on Sunday and it was here and in my projector Tuesday. Great service. The easy to follow instructions walked me step by step through the installation and viola, projector works like new again. Thank you so much!
