Used this light var on moose trip and never failed also high enough that while I was coming back to camp late at night the light could be seen above my head so visibility was awesome.

This was so much cheaper than the overpriced units at walmart. It has the old style 2 wire without neutral connection and it works perfectly. The light it casts is far better than the new LED lights I paid 50 bucks for at walmart. This one is a warmer incandescent color instead of the electric white light of the LED. Its just as bright as the LED but far less glaring especially at night so it wont blind you as badly. Worth every cent to not pay to walmart. By the way I went through two of those "lifetime" LEDs from walmart in two months. They kept shorting out.
