I've had the headphones for about 2 weeks so using it daily while I work. I have it paired with both my laptop (Ubuntu) and cell phone (Android). I originally got one that had a faint ticking noise sometimes, but contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement that doesn't have the same problem.Edit: The new one also started presenting with the same problem. Appears to happen when it is connected to two devices simultaneously. It's not loud but it is noticeable.Pros.- Connects to both and switches to my cell if I get an incoming call.- The both the built-in mic and the external add-on mic works on both my cell and laptop.- It's comfortable when used for long durations of time everyday.- It doesn't fall off regardless of how I move my head or body. I never need to worry about it falling off.- The noise cancellation works well on both mics but is better on the external one.Cons.- It doesn't always switch from my computer to my phone if I start playing music on my phone.- There is a noticeable noise when the speakers on the headphones turn off (not really a problem but noticeable).- When I use both mics on my laptops ppl often tell me the volume is low. I can kind of work around that by cupping the external mic with my hand but it doesn't reach as far forward as my mouth so I guess I get noise cancelled.

My work headset of a wired 13 year Plantronics finally gave out on me and was looking for a durable, portable headset to pack with me to work and travel. I actually am familiar with and own a shockz headset, but I didn't want to use that for work and my personal use. Shockz has a version with a mic but it's super expensive.So was looking for a value and actually bought the G3 model first. The G3 model was thicker and heavier than a shockz headset but sound quality was good. The mic could be moved out of the way but was not detachable. I found the headset to be durable that I can shove down a laptop bag pocket and not worry. Durability was it's strongest point in my opinion.The seller contacted me after a few days later and asked if I wanted to try a newer model the G9. For transparency I was given a headset at no cost to test and provide feedback. The G9 amazingly surprised me and its the closest to rivaling my shockz run headset at a fraction of the price. It's very light weight and comfortable. I wear this 8 hours straight at work without noticing sometimes. The mic could be detached when not in use or move out of the way. The sound quality is great. It connects easily to my laptop. This model is 50% cheaper than the G3 I bought and 80% cheaper than my shokz.This is a hell of a value if you're looking for a bone conduction headset. I definitely recommend this and may buy another to leave at my office and leave the other for working at home.

Overall - the G9 is okay, but not superb. It's good if your main purpose is using the G9 for phone calls with the boom mic and only the boom mic (Without the boom mic, you can't talk to anyone). If you are not buying these for phone calls, then don't bother. 3 stars because I bought these for phone calls only.- It's light and okay comfortable. Not as comfortable as other has described here. The clamp was not too strong, but you still feel it after 30mins or so, especially for those wearing glasses. Can't imagine people putting these on for hours.- The sound quality is good enough for music - but don't expect you will get anywhere close to Bose or Sony. Great for Audio books or Podcast.- No Noise Cancellation - it's open ear headphones. But play it loud enough, it will cancel anything.- The boom mic is excellent. If you are getting this for having phone calls with constant people talking around you, which I am, then it really works.- You can't carry a conversation without the boom mic - the built-in mic is just for show. It will capture sounds, but don't expect people to make out what you say unless you are speaking right into the mic. Tested with many different software and people.
