  • If the volume feels low, check audio settings: on iPhone, turn off Reduce Loud Audio under Settings > Sound & Haptics > Headphone Safety; on Android, enable Absolute Volume in Bluetooth Settings. Also, try Classic or Vocal EQ mode in the Shokz App.

  • You can switch EQ modes via the Shokz App or manually by pressing and holding both the Power/Volume + and Volume - buttons while music is playing until you hear a beep.

  • Start with the headphones off. Hold Volume + until the LED flashes red and blue, then press Multifunction + Volume + for pairing. Connect the first device, turn off the headphones, repeat for the second device, then power on to auto-connect both.

  • If OpenRun Pro 2 gets wet from rain or sweat, gently shake off excess moisture from different angles, wipe the speaker mesh with a dry cloth or tissue, and let it air-dry in a ventilated area for a few hours to ensure optimal performance.

  • Download the latest Shokz app and switch to 'Classic' EQ mode, which optimizes the bone conduction experience. If you can't find it, ensure your 'sales region' is set to the United States or Canada.

I wear these at work and they allow my ears to be open and listen while also being able to focus with my music. I can even answer a physical phone while they are on. I'm looking forward to wearing them biking as they'll keep me safe than traditional buds, because I'll be able to hear the caes. The battery life is awesome live that I can get through a whole shift and they still have juice. Great product, highly recommend. I needed an alternative as I was having issues with my ears (excess wax production and itching) because of regular buds, these have been a great solution for that.

So impressed! It's hard to believe that these are not in my ears. Sound fantastic. Comfortable and they won't fall off my head which is usually my problem. I returned the new Beats Fit Pro 2 for these and am much happier with the Shokz.

I recently got the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2, and I’m seriously impressed! These bone-conduction headphones are a game-changer for workouts and outdoor activities. What I Love:✔️ Open-Ear Comfort: Unlike traditional earbuds, they sit outside the ear, so no ear fatigue or discomfort during long runs.✔️ Great Sound Quality: The bass is noticeably improved from previous models, and calls are crystal clear.✔️ Awareness & Safety: Perfect for running or cycling—being able to hear traffic and surroundings while still enjoying music is a huge plus.✔️ Sweat & Water Resistant: No issues during intense workouts or light rain.✔️ Long Battery Life: Up to 10 hours per charge is great for long training sessions. What Could Be Better:🔹 Not Ideal for Loud Environments – Since they don’t seal in your ears, outside noise can sometimes overpower the audio.🔹 Pricey – A bit on the expensive side, but worth it for the quality and comfort.

Ear pods fall out of my ears easily, headphones get hot when you exercise and both impede my ability to hear ambient sounds like cars, cyclists and people. The OpenRun Pro 2 solved all of these issues for me and provide very good sound. The app provides some functional options suitable for most listeners. They paired easily to my iphone. I have a large head, I found the standard size suitable, but my wife purchased the mini, they fit me as well. If you have a normal sized head I'd recommend the mini. They look and feel robust and well made, I highly recommend this product!

For comfort and ease of use these are great headphones. But the sound is just terrible unless you are in a dead quiet room. In addition the 12 hour battery life has only lived up to half of that on multiple charges. Overall I would not suggest these. The $100 original shokz are better at more then half the cost

I’ve been using Shokz headphones for the past few months, and I absolutely love them! They’ve been one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time..Use CaseMy primary use cases are outdoor walks and bicycle rides, and I’m happy to report that these headphones deliver excellent sound quality and are incredibly easy to use. Whether I’m in a noisy train station or taking calls on Microsoft Teams, they perform flawlessly. The impressive battery life is another standout feature, making them reliable for long sessions..ProsSound Quality: Clear and consistent, even in noisy environments.Ease of Use: Simple controls and an intuitive design.Battery Life: Long-lasting, perfect for extended use..Areas for ImprovementWhile the overall experience has been great, there are a few areas where the Shokz headphones could improve:..Lack of Smart Assistant SupportThere’s no integration with smart assistants like Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri. This would have been a valuable addition for hands-free commands...Microsoft TeamsWhile the headphones work seamlessly with Microsoft Teams on both my phone and Windows computer, the left action button ends calls instead of muting them. This means I have to mute/unmute myself using the phone or computer, which is inconvenient...Inconsistent Multi-Tap FunctionalityThe triple-tap gesture for controlling music (e.g., Spotify or YouTube Music) doesn’t always register, leading to some frustration during playback...Voice Quality in Teams CallsAlthough the voice quality is fine in quiet environments, I’ve been told that it’s not as clear as my Jabra Elite 7 Active earbuds, especially in noisy settings...Unprogrammable Left ButtonThe left button is not customizable and is hardwired for specific actions, limiting personalization...Limited App FeaturesThe companion app is very basic, offering only EQ adjustments, multipoint connection settings, and firmware updates. More functionality would significantly enhance the experience..Final ThoughtsDespite these minor drawbacks, the Shokz headphones have been a fantastic addition to my tech collection. They excel in outdoor and noisy environments, making them perfect for active lifestyles. With a few software updates and feature improvements, they could easily become the best in their category.

I purchased this product on Black Friday and tried to get a discount, but was unsuccessful. I understand that new releases rarely come with a discounted price. However, to be honest, I didn’t notice a significant difference between this model and the older Shokz OpenRun or OpenFit (yes, I own both—this is my third Shokz product). The sound quality is decent, and I appreciate that there’s no vibration at high volumes, which is a definite improvement.Overall, it’s a high-quality product, but I’m deducting one star for its value for the money. If you’re not in a hurry to buy, I’d recommend waiting for a discount. I hope this review remains posted.

Bone conduction is NOT effective, Almost like a wireless headset only. However, sound is good to use in indoors. I was using open move which was good for outdoor use though sound is less. Overall, Openrun Pro2 is not giving value for money…
