BDs deep aluminum pans increase oil capacity while 356T6 cast aluminum construction and heat-dissipating fins keep temperature down. As an added bonus, the pans increased rigidity prevents case twisting. Kit includes a magnetic drain plug and temperature sending unit port.

Its very thick aluminum...Super think mounting flange, and very thick cooling fins and body too...very heavy duty.The magnetic drain plug is so sweet compared to the factory nothing and a port for a temp sensor....the extra fluid capacity is great too...this comes with a factory type gasket that seals excellent not those crappy rubber gaskets..Very well packaged and shipped very quickly....I am very happy...😎🇨🇦

This is a really nice transmission pan. I have purchased a few of them for my trucks. Unfortunately this one had a bad casting in the aluminum and leaked. Returning it and getting my money back was no problem.

When I first got the pan it looked very nice, once the transmission shop installed it, it started to leak. After they removed it to inspect it, they found that there was a factory defect in the pan that was even circled by their quality control(pic). Now that the pan is out of Amazon's return policy, I contacted BD directly and they aren't willing to help me. Which is ironic becuase I purchased it from their Amazon store, not a third party store. So now I have $300 paper weight.

Bought as part of a regular maintenance upgrade. Fitment was perfect for my Dodge Ram 3500. Make sure you have a torque wrench in inch pounds as there is a spec for the pan bolts and pan plug. High quality product and easy to install. Remember to buy extra fluid for the deep pan.

Great fit, easy install. No leaks. Temperature sender port is in the correct location (back). No need for a filter extension which can leak (suck air). Very nice product. I called BD and they sent me an extra drain plug/oring for $2.24 !! Added approx 2 qts more ATF than the stock pan on my 2003 Ram Cummins 48RE.
