Cute small, my daycare kids have dropped it and it’s still sort of in tune! Best part is it comes with 2 sets of sticks plus finger mallets (or whatever they are called) so it’s kind of more worthwhile than buying sticks alone!

Fingertip tabs for playing with your fingers instead of the mallets are a very good idea, but they're very small and the rubber to hold them on your fingertips can tear at the seam if stretched too far, so definitely intended for children's hands. Overall, an excellent quality product, the sound is lovely and not too loud.

The drum is okay , it doesn’t come with the holder for the mallets . It is an appointment gift for a small child . Not a professional sound or size . Works great for my beginner son to play around.

Let me preface this by saying I am not a musician and I am basically tone deaf.This is a great little drum. Typically I find I am sensitive to all noises, including(especially) children’s attempts to make “music”, but this doesn’t bother me at all. The sound is very clear and rich and inoffensive even when toddlers are wailing on it.Comes with easy to follow songbook(the tongues are numbered) that has my 4 year old mastering some great oldies.Definitely a must for your child’s “instrument” collection and a fabulously stimulating gift. 10/10 I will definitely be buying more for the kids in my life.
