The 8 gauge kit was purchased to install a single amplifier to run an 8” subwoofer. The kit itself includes all of the mentioned parts, but none are of high quality. Even the split loom is paper thin and not very useable after being folded in the box. The main reason that I bought this kit is to have a decent length of 8 gauge power and ground wiring for my amplifier install. Well, like others have mentioned, the wire is not an 8 gauge wire as advertised , but that isn’t all. It is also not copper or high quality. I would compare the actual gauge to approximately 12-10 AWG Unfortunately I already had the car panels and trim off to run the wires before I opened the wiring kit and realized that it was not very good, so it had to be used. I paid attention to the add making sure that I didn’t order one of those “copper clad aluminum (CCA)” kits, but I’m not exactly sure what I got. The wires are thin and very light, but were true to the length. Have a look at the attached pictures of the supposed 8 gauge power wire as I am crimping it into the supplied 8 gauge ring terminal as well as a couple others comparing the size to similar wires. I am just hoping that this doesn’t melt or create a fire. I am surprised that the star rating for this kit is as high as it is. It should be about a 1 star. I wouldn’t recommend this kit.

Definetly not rated for 1000 watt amp ,I'd go with something more. Premium next time .the Speaker wire was to small of a gauge for me and the connectors way to small as well but did the job.. works for the job at hand 4 stars

Not the best wiring kit out there but the price is right and it comes with what you need. Used for a 200w RMS install. Worked as it should. Connectors are kind of junky but the wiring itself is actually good. All copper from what I could tell. If you’re doing a simple low power install this will work just fine for you. Fuse holder is kind of junk too so we will see how long it lasts. Worth the money though for this kit.

Overall the kit fits, all the wire lengths are appropriate for a sedan or suv. Only complaint is the rca cable, it broke inside my amp. Saw other reviewers having the same problem. Very cheap fragile rca cable

Comes with everything you need to wire subwoofers into your vehicle.Easier if you have an aftermarket deck as you can just wire the remote and plug in RCAs directly to it. If you don't you would also need to purchase an RCA converter. Great for just a simple set up but if you want better quality audio, consider getting the kit with thicker gaged wiring.The connectors that you crimp on the end of the wires could be a bit better quality but as long as you crimp them properly you shouldn't have any issues.

For what's include in the package it's pretty cheap, the rca cables are quite loose and flimsy though

Il kit contiene:- Cavo rosso (per il positivo della batteria, da 10 mm2)- Cavo nero (da attaccare al telaio, corto ma è più che sufficiente)- Cavo REM (da attaccare all'amplificatore)- Cavi RCA (molto utile visto che i 2 connettori RCA vengon poi raggruppati in un unico cavo, ottima fattura)- Tubo di plastica (l'ho usato per rivestire il cavo rosso all'interno del cofano)- Capicorda, fasciette, connettori vari e accessori (molto utili)- Cavo per autoparlanti- Porta fusibile e fusibile da 50 AmpereAcquistato per montare un subwoofer da 600 watt nella mia macchina, i cavi son davvero buoni ed è un kit di ottima qualità. Consiglio vivamente l'acquisto, non vi deluderà.

I purchased this when I got an amplifier for a ford fiesta in 2009, and again for my peugeot in 2012 as this kit is perfect for the job required.The kit comes with ample wiring, and trunking, as well as everything else you need to wire up an amp.Could maybe do with one or 2 more crimp connectors in the pack, but they're easy enough to get hold of regardless, a good little buy, and definately value for money as it has a simple wiring diagram on the back if required.
