For the price I paid and its speed to print a picture is I think fair. It prints all the colours well. In about a minute it prints full size coloured pictures. Black and white documents are in about 10 seconds.

I only printed out three pages and started coming out very light printer says Auto ink the cartridges were dry, update, they went ahead and replaced the cartridges now I have full ink and they seem to be working fine so thank you for that

Got a great deal. Fully featured, Including two sided printing . Really quiet, and works great on my wireless network. Pleased so far. More importantly, the ink is really affordable, and 3rd party inks work great, saving much money. Worth it. Recommended

What a gem! I read the reviews and the few bad ones had me worried but took the chance as it was on sale. Would happily pay full price after seeing it in action. I'm an absolute moron with technology, I've had 3 wireless printers and had loads of issues connecting from my phone with them in past. It was so easy to set up even dumb dumb managed it without any issues, maybe took 10 minutes from unboxing. As for the ink reviews, it does say in the instructions that on the first set up it takes quite a bit of ink to prime, one time only. Well, I've printed several documents color and b&w and they are still plumb full. He'll of a buy. Very impressed!!

Back in the stone age, I remember the collective departmental shudder in IT when we got a support call to install a Brother device. That was before management finally got one of their rare clues and imposed a buying policy for equipment. So I was a little apprehensive about ordering this device.I ordered it to use as a document scanner only, particularly since it has a page feeder. I use a laser for printing because inkjet quality is still poor and the cartridges are an insane price. The Linux drivers (Red Hat/Debian) were easy to find and install, and the machine was simple to set up. For the price, this is a great machine: it seems Brother has come a long way!

This is my 2nd wireless printer I’ve owned. This is so so much better than my previous cannon. It actually keeps its own wifi all the time. No need to mess with it every time to connect to the wifi network and pray it connects. I don’t set them up to a computer. It prints quickly and accurately. Prints on both sides. Holds a decent amount of paper and the ink is affordable. I’m so happy with this purchase!

I'm waiting for the day when I can purchase a reliable printer. This is definitely not it. CONSTANT issues and good luck if you need to reset your Network password. Troublshooting galore and you're lucky if you can get a few pages printed when is is functioning. Tedious and very small screen display for setting etc. This will end up right in the garbage with all the other useless printers out there. Firmware issues, "Brother" printer ink is super expensive and they only want you to use their brand (of course) otherwise you will get a non-stop annoying message if you are using another brand. I would shop around and avoid this printer at all costs. Would definitely not recommend this piece of junk!!!!
