Serves its purpose. I’m 5’9 and I fit under just fine. Have not had any issues with it falling apart. My 50lbs daughter has even stood on it (to my dismay) and it is still perfectly fine. Only wish it would stay open better when I’m positioning it. The hinges are loose so I have to hold it in position as I kneel. But after I’m on it, it’s fine.

The stool looks nice and it tilts the body into a comfortable position. |Hence the one star. However, it fell apart after I had only sat on it for about an hour. I weigh about 60kg. The screws are probably too short and the hinges are poor quality. My stool is now in bits.

Flimsy decorative hinges bent immediately. not safe for use. Waste of money. Cheap light wood would probably break if hinges were stronger. Avoid

It’s perfect. I’m 5’8”. 170 lbs. Very athletic build. I have had multiple knee and calve surgeries, and my right knee does not bend well.This bench puts me in a totally comfortable positón that really allows my bodies alignment.The quality is sound, especially for the price. The design for the locked in legs is simple and smart.I meditate every day - if this has some sort of failure, I will update my review. But right now, it is clearly money well spent.Side note - it is nicely inconspicuous. It just has a classic look to it that doesn’t scream I’m a meditating hippie.I am. I just don’t yell it from the roof tops bucease i don’t feel like constantly explaining how awesome it is. This would work great for anyone, but If you’re like me, this will fit you even better.
