I needed 24 hour recording so a usb plug in was the option. The other solar ones only provide event recording which can be spotty at best and only capture max 30 secs. You also need a *quality* mini sd card - initially that was causing issues with 24hr playback until I changed it, and now it works great, is super reliable on playback, and notifications 🔔 if you want to set it up without power somewhere you can get one of those solar rechargeable usb power banks. I’m Very happy with quality of recording, reliability and motion detection options. You do need a wifi connection but I’m satisfied with the range. CLOUDPLUS app over the CloudEdge is another option. Great security product!

Great quality video . Camera is well made. Easy to set up and install. I love the tracking feature and the fact that I don't have to subscribe to any monthly plan. You just have to buy a micro SD card and you are set.

Much smaller than my previous IOGear cam but has much clearer images in both video and still. Has motion follow too but it's a bit too laggy but not a concern as we have them aimed where we like. Love that it's not solar nor battery. Plug and play.The human detection is very good and, interesting, seems to detect before you can even see a person in the video. Some people mention wifi issues but for us, with our terrible wifi as it is, the two of these we have haven't had any issues, and connection/setup was easy.I never noticed if our previous IOgear did this or not, but I noticed these cams seem to be always recording so you can even view video before and after event triggering. Very impressive. As is the zoom control in Quad setting (screen showing up to four cams live view if you have them). It would be nice if, when you only 2 or 3 cams, that the views would expand to fill the screen as opposed to just half screen (if you have 2 cams).Hopefully it's lasts a few years. As it stands, definitely recommend.

Ho deciso di acquistare questa telecamera TOAIOHO 2K Wi-Fi per uso esterno soprattutto per le moltissime recensioni positive e nel mio caso specifico per controllare l'ingresso di casa e ammetto dire che sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto delle sue prestazioni. Si distingue per la sua qualità video in 2K, la visione notturna a colori e la resistenza alle intemperie con la sua classificazione IP66 mi ha veramente stupito.La modalità di visione notturna a colori la ritengo molto utile e non tutte le telecamere di videosorveglianza hanno questa funzione. E’ particolarmente utile per identificare dettagli importanti, come il colore di un'auto o di indumenti di una persona, informazioni molto importanti per la sicurezza.Per l'installazione e la configurazione è stato tutto semplicissimo grazie all'app dedicata e tramite il Wi-Fi in pochi passaggi e spiegati nel manuale che trovate all'interno della confezione.Come qualità del video di questa telecamera è sia diurna che notturna è semplicemente eccezionale. Le immagini sono nitide e dettagliate, permettendomi di visualizzare chiaramente ogni dettaglio anche a distanza e con lo zoom. La risoluzione 2K offre una qualità video superiore rispetto alle tradizionali telecamere HD, consentendo una maggiore chiarezza e definizione.Inoltre grazie alla funzione dell'audio bidirezionale, consente di comunicare in tempo reale con chi si trova nella zona di videosorveglianza molto utile per avvertire gli eventuali intrusi o semplicemente per comunicare con i corrieri o postini per le consegne dei pacchi e posta.La classificazione IP66 è una caratteristica molto importante visto la posizione dove è stata montata superando il test a piogge intense e alle condizioni atmosferiche in maniera eccellente senza subire danni.In conclusione, la TOAIOHO 2K Telecamera Wi-Fi per Esterno/Interno si è rivelato come un validissimo prodotto di buona fattura, soddisfa in maniera eccellente tutte le mie esigenze di sorveglianza. La qualità video in 2K e la visione notturna a colori sono un punto di forza di questa telecamera oltre alla resistenza alle intemperie con la sua caratteristica IP66. La consiglio vivamente a chiunque sia alla ricerca di una soluzione di sorveglianza di buona qualità a basso contenuto.

This is a very feature rich camera. The App includes setup information and is reasonably intuitive, though there are a couple features I struggled to understand. I used the app both on an old Android phone (Android 8) and old iPhone (5S) and there were no surprises. I did have trouble figuring out how to get itthe camera to recognize an SD card, which it reformats to turn it into a circular buffer.It does pick up sound and can do motion tracking reasonably well. However, if the object being tracked leaves the camera field of view, it may not pick up new movement as the camera may no longer be in the optimal position to see a new intrusion. It should be possible for the user to define a default pan and tilt position that the camera "parks" at after a tracked object leaves the field of view.I cannot comment on the longevity of the tilt and pan. The camera WiFi seems to work very well.

I am extremely impressed with this security camera! The picture quality is crystal clear, even at night, thanks to the excellent night vision. The motion detection is spot on, alerting me instantly when something moves in the frame. The setup was super easy, and the mobile app works seamlessly to provide live feeds and notifications. I also appreciate the cloud storage option for keeping recordings safe. Overall, it’s a fantastic, reliable camera that gives me peace of mind. Highly recommend!

This camera is amazing! Although i wish the power cord was longer it still has amazing function! I use them for the rear and front of my home and they do not disappoint! I have captured stealing of my neighbors packages and i can see the license plates from far! Definitely recommend and you dont need to buy cloud storage use an sd card and you can review whenever.. has continuous recording which i may add is amazing! Motion detection is amazing and we get notifications right away. Easy to use and run!

At first I was quite pleased with this surveillance camera. It took me a while to figure out the nuances of its controls but I was managing. This morning, after a few weeks, it quit working. Following the onscreen help prompts I had to take down the camera (quite a job in winter, involving setting up an extension ladder) and reconfigure the camera the same way I had to in the beginning. After reinstalling it and running network diagnostics it told me the Wifi signal is too weak and that I should relocate the camera. This is not an option: it is positioned on the edge of the shed above my car to monitor future break-ins to my car. The estimated distance from my router to the camera is about 50'. So, I'm guessing any distance more than 30' is probably too much for this camera to keep working reliably. If it quits again as a result of weak wifi connection I guess I'll have bought a pig in a poke.UPDATE: After another month the camera quit again.. I thought I could reset the wifi connection as before but the camera will not power on. So far no luck contacting the company. It looks like I wasted $60 on the camera and SD cards.UPDATE 2: I removed the SD card and the camera powered up again and managed to reconnect with Wifi. Seems to be working okay again. I'm still only giving it 1 Star because this is the second time in less than 2 months that it has quit. I spent an hour the first time resetting it, closer to 2 hours today. Too finicky.UPDATE 3: After 2 months the camera quit for the third time. It will not power up in the reset process so I'm giving up on it. Probably too late to return it plus I'm stuck with 2 micro SD cards.

Compre dos cámaras el mes pasado y hasta hora genial, avisa rápido suena y da destellos, imagen genial, sobre todo de noche que es mas importante. Tiene varias configuraciones que es importante, lo que no me gusta es que cuando hace mucho viento la cámara se gira sola y deja su posición inicial sin cubrir. Hay que bajarle la sensibilidad a baja, en cambio a la otra no hay que tocarla y creo que es la ubicación una esta más expuesta pero muy contentos con ella y voy a coger 4 más con sus respectivas tarjetas sd que son de 64gb ya que son económicas, calidad precio y resistentes, las tengo puestas en el exterior debajo del alero de la casa y asi tengo cubierto todo el perimetro. Referente a la tarjeta sd lo pone bien claro el manual del usuario que es de 64gb. Por lo demás muy contento con ellas.Llegaron el 27 de septiembre y hasta hoy en día sin problema quitando el dichoso viento porque son muy sensibles al movimiento y eso es bueno en caso de que alguien las intente sabotear. No pongo imágenes porque no tengo instala la tardeja. Lo bueno que desde la app controlas todo y fácil de instalar y rápido por eso compro más porque así están todas las cámaras en una app sola. Se tarda poco en colocar con la plantilla que ayuda mucho para hacer los taladros

De camera is qua beeld wel goed, echter de memory card is makkelijk van buitenaf te verwijderen zonder enige moeite, slechts een rubber dopje eraf halen. Verder valt de kwaliteit van de antennes erg tegen, ik had deze op mijn schuur gemonteerd waar de vorige camera een signaalsterkte van 88% ontving en deze gaf aan slechts 35%. Dan zie je continu connectie time-outs ontstaan en dat is voor beveiliging helaas onvoldoende.
