Having read the reviews, it was what I expected.There are handy coloured examples for those just learning to colour, which is great.The delivery time was a day earlier than the estimated time when purchased.The book was shrink wrapped to protect the book which I appreciated, no bends or damage at all.I do have some suggestions for the manufacturer:1) Make it a ringed binder, so it is easier to access the pages for colouring.2) If you do not want to add rings, make the pages wider with more space at the spine.3) It is nice that castle #24 Neuschwanstein Castle is coloured for us, but it is making it only 35 Castles to colour not 36, you could include an uncoloured version for users.

Das ist ein wirklich tolles und schön gestaltetes Malbuch. Ich habe es für ein 10-jähriges Mädchen gekauft. Sie malt unheimlich gern. Sie hat sich sehr gefreut darüber. Dieses Malbuch ist eine Herausforderung und super toll.

The book itself is nice. Has nice details about the castles. I find the "reference" art, doesn't necessarily match the art that you colour.Also, the details of the castles are a little basic, perhaps to give colourists' greater flexibility.The paper is nice to colour with coloured pencils. Right now I'm using Prismacolors, but will try my Faber Castell Polychromos next.Overall, it's a nice book but a tad overpriced in my opinion.

This is a lovely colouring book done by castle Arts. The paper is excellent quality. So far I’ve only tried coloured pencil, but the paper takes quite a few layers of pigment. The only issue I have with it is they line draw where the shadows and highlights go to match the prints provided for referral at the beginning of the book. Being a professional artist I don’t need a road map telling me where highlights and shadows should go. Other than that I’m really pleased.

It is alright for watercolors or color penclis. There are small photos for color reference. The pages seem of good quality to use the watercolors directly on them, but i decided to transfer the design to a different type of paper that was a sure thing.

Ik had dit boek gekocht om te aquarelleren, zoals beschreven stond.Het papier is superdun en NIET om te aquarelleren.In de gegevens staat dat het 2,54 cm dik is.Het boek is amper 1 cm dik.Heel teleurstellend en onjuist vermeld.Geen aanrader als je wilt aquarelleren.Voor de rest mooie prenten.

Paid an arm and a leg to get this as seller does not ship to Canada.This has very little Christmas as they go through all holidays. Something not mentioned.

This colouring book is a book that just keeps giving, it gives you a step by step guide of how to use your tools; pencils, pens and paints and get the most from them. Then there is a beautiful section showing you what colours look vibrant to use on pictures. After that your activity book is ready for you to started and pick from the range of 12 days of Christmas to colour, the pictures are lovely and inviting. From there you reach the Christmas card section, which I know my kids are going to love doing these to send to family and friends. The last piece is a wonderful calendar for you to colour and keep all to yourself and use throughout the year.
