I wasn't sure if the different types of grasses were going to be separated into its own bag, or whether each pouch had a mix of seed. None of the bags are labeled so I assume it's a mix of all three varieties in each pouch. Other versions of seeds I've received in the past say to winterize them first by putting them in the freezer for several days but these have no such instructions. They didn't germinate as quickly as 2-3 days as per the ad, but they did germinate for me outdoors in September after about 9 days. The instructions say to sow these seeds, cover with soil, water, and then "put in darkness". Obviously seeds don't grow in the dark so that must be a misprint. But they do germinate which is the important part! The grass looks healthy and green. Which blade is which type is indistinguishable, but that doesn't matter to me. A good product.

I can't tell you how many cat grass bundles I buy in the winter for my crew and sometimes it's already turning yellow in the store so I started growing my own. I have not nailed down the timing yet so that my cats get a steady flow of fresh grass but it really does help to have the seeds on hand. Also, this summer I started saving my own seeds but unfortunately mold got to them so I thought I would have to resort to buying at the store again and poof, a whole set of fresh seeds lands on my doorstep. It's a fair mixture and a good amount that equates to what you buy in the store. All you need is soil and water and sun (although their instructions are a dark place which I find a bit odd; I guess I'll try this winter maybe one or half a bag to see the difference).

Have previously bought cat grass at a large pet store chain. Small container @ $4.99 which only lasted 3-4 days before wilting, even though I made sure it was moist.Planted these seeds in regular quite damp potting soil- shook seeds out of package for an even spread and covered lightly with more soil ( just covered & no more). Put on the window ledge in my laundry room, which is quite warm and hey presto, the seeds germinated in 2-3 days. Within 5 days had grown thick and fast.My two cats have been chewing on it for 6 days now & it's still looking green & healthy. I check it every couple of days to make sure the soil is still damp.Overall, growing your own cat grass works out a lot less expensive than store bought, looks better and last's longer. And my guys love it! If they had thumbs, they'd give this two thumbs up!

I like that the seeds came individually wrapped. This will help keep the freshness. I planted 1 pouch which seems to be the same amount that I've planted with other seeds (handful). I felt these took a little longer to germinate that the other seeds I've tried. However, now that the plant pot is full of grass, I think these might be superior seeds to what I've been using. The grass seems full and lush and has remained green for over a week now. The grass is a reasonable height and the blades aren't super thick which I think my cat prefers. My previous seeds the grass grew quickly, the blades of grass was thick (half centimeter and wider) and tall (15 cm and taller); then they yellowed quickly.

This cat grass seed mix is very nice. It contains three different plants (wheat, oat and barley), a good variety for our furry friends. Usually, it's only one type of grass. I usually soak them in water overnight and then plant them the next day so that's what I did. They sprouted quickly and are growing nicely.I love that they are separated into 10 small packs, so that they stay fresh for longer.

We have a senior kitty with a sensitive tummy. In the summer, well into the fall, she eats outside grass (she's indoor but we pick it for her) but in the winter, since that's obviously not an option, I grow cat grass for her. I always buy the packets in the store but this time I decided to try this. This is a new mix for me since I've never purchased a type before that included barley and I'm looking forward to see how our fur baby likes it. She has been known to be kitty with different kinds of cat grass so we'll see. These packets aren't overly large but I think they're comparable (and even larger) than some of the store bought packets.I haven't planted this yet since we're still in outside grass season but that's coming to an end so these will be started probably in the next week or two. When we get the first batch going I'll update. In the meantime, based on the price and the size of the packets, I'm giving these 5 stars.

I liked the 10 individually sealed packages. They keep longer that way. The mix of wheat, oats, and barley is good too. Diversity is better for our cat. Non-GMO is good too as we don't like franken-food for out 17 year old Bengal housecat. Still waiting for the first batch to mature, will update if anything significant happens while growing.
