This must be a joke. Completely untuneable. The body is made of plastic and it bends so no matter what you do, it will not hold a single note ever. Complete waste of money. Do not waste your money on this garbage and don’t think that you can do anything to it to make it hold a note.

This guitar does not have accurate fret spacing and is unplayable. No amount of setup can fix this. The result is a frustrating experience which could turn-off a young musician before they even get started.

I had hopes, but not expectations, that this would make a decent little travel guitar. It still might if I put some heavier strings on it. The nut slots were so shallow that it was impossible to play in tune but after shimming the neck, filing the nut slots and sharp fret ends and adjusting the intonation I got it almost playable. Because of the light strings and short neck the strings are so loose that they won't hold their tune. Heavier strings might help.Edit: I put heavier strings on it and when I tuned it to concert pitch it pulled the top off! I re-glued the top and, sure enough, the heavier strings helped with the tuning stability. So far the top hasn't pulled off again. If you can't do the required work yourself I recommend that you pass on it. By the time you pay to get the work done you might as well just pay the extra for a better guitar. But it was worth the try.

I originally rated this as two stars, and I had thought the issue was cheap strings being why it was losing tuning, after replacing them i found out the strings aren't the issue...THE ACTUAL FRET SPACING IS BADIt's particularly noticeable in the 2nd fret, on a in tune A string the guitar plays a C instead of a B, for example.Do not buy, this doesn't even function as well as a plastic elementary school recorder.

I am very happy with this. I got it for myself to learn how to play. I like the size and all the parts that it came with. I
