Easy to set up as a wifi range extender, or use as I did to get a hardwire ethernet port upstairs in my condo where I could not run a cable. I have it plugged into an 8 port ethernet switch for everything upstairs, and main wifi router is downstairs where cable broadband is located.

It was easy to set up but when I got new WiFi it was really difficult because I had to restart it with pressing a really small button and it took a while

El equipo funciona a la perfección, lo adquirí reacondicionado pero pareciera nuevo, extiende muy bien la señal. Mi casa es de 120 m y 3 pisos, anteriormente la señal de wifi no llegaba de forma funcional a partes del segundo piso y tercero, ahora con el extensor llega a toda la casa y lo mejor es que la velocidad no se ve disminuida (70 MB/s).Como único defecto fue que al inicio no podía configurar el extensor ya que no encontraba su red para sincronizarlo, esto lo pude arreglar presionando el botón de reset del equipo y siguiendo los pasos de la guía rápida de inicio.En resumen muy satisfecho con la compra.

Excelente producto, de alta calidad en muy buen estado físico y de operación. Lo probe en las siguientes situaciones.Como extensor1.- Durante el día lo uso para conectar mi laptop via eternet a este extensor y así mejorar la velocidad del internet de mi computadora. conectado via wifi sin el extensor me conecta a 30 Mbps. con el extensor me conecta los 50mbps que es la velocidad que tengo contratada.2.- Cuando no lo ocupo en mi laptop, lo ocupo en el segundo piso de mi casa para ampliar la red mesh y la cobertura del internet. lo he probado con 5 equipos conectados al mismo tiempo y sin problemas.Como access point3.- Como access point, la pobre conectando 5 equipos wifi al mismo tiempo (Pc y celulares) y trabajo sin problema, sin corte de señal y manteniendo buen enlace y señal para los equipo.Recomendado ampliamente

Upon opening the package, the device had some marks on it and needed to be factory reset. I wonder how much the Amazon Refurbish program actually checks electronics to see if they're working. The marks were easy to clean off (might have been greasy hands that caused them) and the factory reset was a pinhole button to press once I checked the TP-Link support site for a manual. 5 stars for the actual device and price for being refurbished, but 1 star for the Amazon people who actually did the refurbishing.I have great WiFi coverage in my home and didn't need the repeater function, so I can't comment on that other than it looked like it worked. I upgraded the extender to the latest firmware once I got it attached to my WiFi and turned off all extender/repeater functions. I used the Ethernet port to connect an old PS3 that has broken WiFi to the internet. It worked great to connect a legacy device that only has Ethernet to the internet when I can't run a long cable from my router in the basement to my bedroom upstairs. Totally worth it for the price and would buy again if it broke and would buy more if I needed them for other Ethernet only devices.
