Your cart is empty.All Wheat is Not Equal. We have had the experience of growing wheatgrass and being in the commercial wheatgrass business over the last 14 years. During that time we have experienced many different kinds of wheat. We have used wheat from Texas, Utah, Montana, California, and Israel both organic and non organic. There are two kinds of wheat one can buy: chemical free and certified organic. Most wheat is chemical free in that the farmer might or might not use an herbicide to control the weeds in his fields. If he uses chemicals on the wheat, it will cause a distinct taste in the bread thus no chemicals are used on the wheat itself

This is my go to brand, organic and affordable!! I soak them for like ten minutes in water and a little squirt of oxygen peroxide then I'll rinse and soak in just water until the seeds start to sprout, I do drain and put more water before the sprouting happens. I lay them over dirt in my sprout trays then I sprinkle Azomite fertilizer over them then a thin layer of soil or you can just cover with newspaper to block off the light. After my trays grow I cut and rinse my wheatgrass and I'll put them in ice cube trays (each cube is 2 TBS) and I put in freezer, as soon as they freeze I put them in a ziplock bag and back into the freezer. At one point I was drinking 5 shots of wheatgrass a day, I had so much energy and I felt very happy, my hair also felt healthier, but you have to ease into it, one shot everyday for a week and then add more daily shoots every week if you don't feel nauseous, I squeeze lime juice in my shots for faster defrosting and better flavor. I've heard you can even remineralize your teeth by swishing wheatgrass juice in your mouth for 15 minutes a day!!! So many health benefits, and if you compare the wheatgrass cells to our blood cells they are pretty much the same with the only difference that our blood cells have iron and wheatgrass cells have magnesium, it's like a blood transfusion.

I wanted to wait until I had a chance to sprout this green before leaving a review. After doing a quick two day sprouting, literally every grain sprouted.This is a grain that the grower can be proud of. It’s a little on the pricey side, but I couldn’t be happier.

this hard red wheat seed (chemical free) germinated very quickly and evenly in our garden; has been growing very rapidly without very much rain
