These are advertised as clarinet joint corks. THAT WILL NOT WORK FOR CLARINETS. Full stop. The package label even says Clarinet Joint Cork. In no universe is this suitable for a clarinet in ANY form. I'll find a use for them on something, but this is just mislabeling to make a sale at its worst.

The cork is fine but much too small to fit around even the smallest of the tenon joint on a clarinet and though I have yet to try it, I doubt it would work for the neck corks on alto and bigger saxophones. MAYBE the soprano or sopranino neck. The thickness is ok because you will have to file it down to fit individual brands of clarinets/ saxophones anyway. I can use it to replace the bumpers under the keys on different instruments, but the claim for "clarinet joint" cork replacement is a joke. It's missing just over a centimeter in length for that to happen on even the small joints.

The cork is too short and would not go around to make full circle, I managed to do it with two pieces, but the cork was so thick the clarinet would not come together. It's measures 1/16" thick and it's too thick... in my opinion 1/32" thickness would be the best.

The description says it can be used to replace the cork joint in a clarinet. The sheets they send you are too small and don't wrap all the way around a clarinet joint. They don't give you dimensions, but the photos look as though they are large sheets and the description says it was made for clarinet joints. I tried rolling the cork to see how it would fit around the joint and it splinters and breaks apart. So even if the sheets were big enough to be used, they were useless. Pure junk. Fortunately , Amazon gave me a total refund and didn't even want the product returned. I would give it zero stars if there was an option for that. The one star I had to use here to do the review is way too generous.
