It is a great way to introduce young children to the world of music. The set includes a variety of percussion instruments, such as tambourines, maracas, and hand bells, which are designed to be easy for young children to play and enjoy. One of the main benefits of this percussion set is that it is specifically designed for preschool-aged children. The instruments are sized appropriately for small hands, making them easy to hold and play. They are also made from durable materials, ensuring that they can withstand the wear and tear of young children. The set is also a great tool for group activities, as children can play together and create their own musical compositions.

This collection of musical instruments was a GREAT FIND! I love having the collection of instruments all matching. (It may seem a little trivial, but I do find it nice.)VarietyThere are so many different instruments! I do like how some are similar, like the maraca and the egg shaker, so that if a child is envious of the one instrument they could be appeased by having a similar instrument. YET, I don't think they are all so similar that children will get bored of only one instrument all of the time.SoundThe sound of each instrument is clear and pleasing to the ears.QualityThe quality of the wood is quite impressive! Really it is. As a wood worker, my husband is attentive to stain and lacquer. That being said, I can tell that the wood is very durable. It is smooth in the hand; there are no rough spots or uneven edges. The metal parts are good and solid. They should all stay well put and endure the use of little children for a good long time. If this set is for personal use, I would definitely say it is heirloom quality.Storage of InstrumentsIt is really nice that the instruments all fit back in the original bag, no stuffing or zipper frustrations on my part. I do think that if there was a more solid case for everything it would be nice. I realize this would add to the price tag, so you may want to find one yourself.Definitely worthy of the 5 stars.

These percussion instruments are fun to play with for the beginner and young kids who just like to bang things around and make noises. The little kids love shaking things and making loud noises with bells and maracas. Sound quality was not bad and reflected more professional instruments, although at a very small scale. The xylophone had an error on the notation of the white key, which said that the note was H, however it was supposed to be B to be correct. The picture for the product description was correct, so must have been a manufacturing error. It was not off-pitch though, so that was good. The way the triangle string was tied, it would always spin around once I held it up and played it, which is a bit annoying. Normally there would be a loop for the triangle so you can hold the loop open in your hand and the string would keep the triangle from spinning. I also like the song book that went together with the xylophone, because it had so many different popular songs in it to play. The overall quality of the instruments was ok, not professional quality, but nice enough to feel like they won't be destroyed by kids in a short amount of time. The wood felt smooth and polished and sturdy enough. Overall, the instruments were pretty good and very fun to play with for my kids and good to introduce them to percussive instruments.

What a quality percussion kit! I'm so excited about gifting this to my grand nephew, a music lover, who turns 2 in a couple weeks. I immediately ran to find the set I had for my children for comparison and this one is a total upgrade. These instruments are good sized and well crafted, I can't get over the quality of the tambourine. All moms love a toy with a carrying/storage case and his mother will be pleased. I suspect the little guy has some marching sessions at daycare with percussion instruments and will love having his own set. There will be marching for all at his birthday party! So pleased to gift this toddler must have! Well done, Clifton!

The CLIFTON Educational Musical Instruments Set is a big hit with four children ages 10 months, 18 months, 3 1/2 and 7 years of age.The Percussion Set is well made and will provide years of enjoyment and creative development. The youngest guy liked the wooden egg which is perfectly safe for his age. The 18-month-old liked the bells. The 7-year-old boy was able to figure out the book of music notes and began playing the Xylophone. The 3-year-old wanted to explore the entire set.The instruments provide an opportunity to explore Percussion Instruments. We discussed the types of instruments and hopefully they will continue to enjoy creating sounds and music.I do have one concern. The striker for the triangle has a sharp metal end. If a child fell while carrying it, there is a possibility of injury. The striker could also be handled as a weapon. I used a file to round the edge and eliminate the danger. This is an excellent Percussion Set for any child interested in music.
