Bought this musical instrument set for my 4 year old niece for Christmas. Although the box indicates the age range is “18 m”, it was a hit with all the kids in the family (ages 6, 5, 4, 3). They were busy playing “concert” together all night, and asking to play with it again the following day. The instruments were good quality, although the drum had a small tear in the skin.

I guess you get what you pay for... tambourine arrived ripped. It's a flimsy sheet of paper so I'm not surprised. Wouldn't last one minute in the hands of a child. It's not washable, the paint used is thin and uneven. Purchased for a baby, but this definitely isn't baby-safe.
