There are cheaper versions here which, I have returned. This is thicker and more protective while at the same time feeling nice and grippy. Very light weight too. Buy it. You won't regret it .

So I did return this item, but I actually LOVED it. The color was beautiful, loved the texture of it, was great quality. My only complaint was the kindle went in from the top and it did not velcro down, was just a little flap that folded over the top. Also the magnetic closer was not as strong on this one as another brand I ordered so those two factors pushed me to send it back and keep a different one I had ordered.

This kindle case is cute and does exactly what it needs to do—protect my kindle and put it to sleep when I close the cover. I’ve had it for several months now and it’s holding up very well though I don’t often take my kindle out of my bedroom.I would recommend this to a friend.

The best thing about this cover is the strap that you slide over your hand. It makes it so much more comfortable to read in any situation-lounging on a float in the pool, in bed, on the sofa. When you doze off it doesn't go crashing to the floor!
