Very nice cover….Does include sleep mode !!Very slim, so fits in my purse or backpack easily. Appears to be well made; good, strong magnetic closure.I had a hard time finding a cover to fit my e-reader, as it is getting pretty dated (but still works fine!!). So happy to have found this one.I actually ordered two cases, one in petrol (very pretty teal colour) & one in black, just in case one fails in the future. Worth it to me to protect my e-reader.This cover is made specifically for the Kobo Aura, edition 1, Model no. N514. Don’t order this for any other model, as they all fit differently! I previously ordered a different case, but it was for Aura edition 2. The measurements seemed like it would fit, but they were off by a couple of tiny millimeters, & the shape of the back of the reader was different—would not work!

Il est mentionné dans l’annonce qu’il est ok pour Aura Edition 1 (n514) alors que c’est faux. Beaucoup trop petit.De plus, la qualité du plastique laisse à désirer, cheap product. Vraiment le produit le plus cheap de tout ce que j’ai commandé sur Amazon depuis plusieurs années.

Har läst recensioner som påstår att denna inte stöder viloläge vilket inte stämmer med min Kobo Aura, där funkar det alldeles utmärkt. Metallbiten som magneten fastnar mot går att ta bort och kanske lossnar med tiden.

The reviews I read said it didn't put the Kobo to sleep but it works for my Kobo. It's not a super strong construction but more than I expected for the price. The magnet is very powerful so I put some duct tape over it to soften it a bit, mostly because I was concerned of the "wear and tear" on the cover. Very thankful I was able to replace my original cover. Totally happy with my purchase.

Note that this cover is for the Kobo Aura Edition 1, which refers to the first Aura that Kobo released. It is not for the newer Kobo Aura ONE. I am giving this product five stars. It isn't the most rugged or deluxe case ever made for an e-reader, but it looks good, it fits the original Aura perfectly and it is priced right. I had a hard time finding a case for my aging Aura, which is still in mint condition if you overlook the dent on one of its corners from the time I lost my grip on it when it was brand new. Arrgh! This case hides that scar and makes future ones less likely. Some reviews say the magnet is weak, but the one on mine is not weak at all. It is true that this case does not cause the Aura to power on and off automatically when opened and closed. I'm 99% sure that this is because the original Aura itself has never had that capability with any cover. By the way, the metal part of this case comes covered with a bluish plastic film that is removable. The film adheres to the metal so closely that at first I just thought the metal had a weird blue tint to it. Fortunately, my better half was not as easily fooled. Before I settled on this case, I tried the one listed as "kwmobile Case for Kobo Aura Edition 1 - Book Style Fabric Protective e-Reader Cover Flip Folio Case - Dark Grey." That one protects the device slightly better because it has more of a buffer at the top and bottom instead of being nearly flush with the device's edges. However, I prefer the leather feel of the cover I am reviewing here. The fabric of the other case feels a little abrasive, in my opinion. Also, the one I received had a smell that I found intolerable. I think that was a fluke, because this PU leather case seems to be made of mostly the same materials and it has no smell. In any event, the seller, KW-Commerce-US, did an exchange for me, no questions asked, and I am 100% satisfied.

I purchased this and was happy with the cover. Not long after having it every time I opened it the magnet came out of the bottom part and stuck to the top. I had to glue the magnet back in and so far it has worked. I have now purchased a second one and I wish the inside place where the Kobo inserts into was rubber since the plastic chips and breaks and no longer hold the e reader in place. I will try it one more time

Fits slim and perfectly. I bought 2 cases because I had a hard time finding a case for my Kobo Aura 1st edition. It’s an older ereader but works great so I wanted a spare case. One of the cases puts my E reader to sleep when I close it and the other one doesn’t. It’s hit and miss but that didn’t really matter to me. I just wanted to case to cover it and protect it and this does the trick. I’m very happy with my purchases.

I bought this case in spite of the fact that it does not have the magnetic wake and sleep feature. It fits well but may not last as long as the out of production Kobo case. It looks good and is about 50% less than what I paid for the Kobo case five years ago.

Fit my Kobo Perfect. It is thinner then I expected but does the job. Great for the price shipped really quick
