I thought that this sleep case worked as described, using magnets to put my Kobo to sleep when the case was "shut" and waking it up when it was "open", but I soon realized that folding the front of the case behind the device (in the optimal holding position), the Kobo would fall asleep. The case is practically unusable for this reason, causing my device to fall asleep when I'm holding it for use.

The case is pretty and fits and Kobo Clara Colour nicely, apart from the screen flap on it. They advertise the tri fold cover has sleep/wake functionality, but it doesn't sit right on the Kobo front so it doesn't work at all. I'm glad I got it at a discounted price, because it really isn't nice enough to be a $40 case.The trifold cover is a nice grip feature though, I just wish it worked properly and didn't seem so flimsy.

楽天Kobo Claraカラー用のケースです。三つ折りスタンドタイプのカバーが欲しい場合は、このケースになります。縦方向のスタンドが欲しい場合には公式扱いのスリープカバーもあるので、横画面、縦画面のどちらで使うかでケースは選ぶようになると思います。なお、このカバーの質感は、ベーシックスリープカバーに近く、少しお高めにも感じられます。

This case has so many flaws but the dealbreaker for me is that you can't use it with the flap flipped flat to the back because then it activates the sleep mode! so everytime You flip the front cover to the back, it goes to sleep mode rendering it useless. It is also feels so cheaply made like the front cover is glued on and really flimsy and does not sit flat against the screen.

This case is super flimsy. There’s a difference between “lightweight” and cheap. This is just cheap. The sparkly back is pretty and subtle but that’s the only good thing about it. Definitely not real leather either. I’d pay $16 for this and no more. Almost $40 after taxes, absolutely not.

The glitter is nice and not overdone. I feel the plastic case is durable and well made.I will say the top cover is a bit of a let down in terms of quality. It's pretty flimsy and if you fold it back into a triangle as advertised it has a bit of a lift to it when placing back down flat to cover the screen.Overall this is a good enough case, but not sure it's worth getting this over Kobo branded accessories considering the price similarities.

Can't say I'm too impressed by this Kobo Case.It's claimed Leather is used somewhere in it's manufacture but there's no indication of it anywhere.The front cover is just stuck onto the clear back and could peel off at any time and to top it the Sleep/Wake Function didn't work...not for me at least.The £23.99 asking price can't really be justified, it's a £4.99 product at the most.Sorry but I cannot recommend at the price point...
