Getting ready for grouper season so spouse is putting away two bags of ice a day. This is a cheaper and safer option than using trash bags.

The ice bags were delivered ahead of the projected delivery date. Bags work very well for storing ice cubes.

Overall 4.5 since they are very good, but not "perfect". The first thing that put me off was the outer plastic bag that contained 2 rolls of 50 icebags was dirty and yellowed, the bags inside seem clean though. The plastic is on the thinner side so there has some tears through the plastic when subjecting it to the frozen ice filled drop test, there was no tearing and no ice came out, just little holes from the ice edges. I tried 3 of the bags using both standard half moon freezer cubes and nugget ice/"sonic ice" that these will be primarily used for in the summer since the nugget ice maker is a countertop model and that's everyone's preferred style in the warmer months and the countertop output can't keep up when friends are over, so it's made and bagged in advance. The 10 lb size is great in that it fits in both the mini-fridge freezer outside and is short enough to clear the upper drawer when in the bottom of the pull out freezer.These are reusable, but that depends on how they're handled- throwing them in a cooler or dropping them on the ground to break up ice... you probably won't get a second use. The printing is "cute" and I like that the drawstring does not have a metal clip to rust.

We use these to bag ice from an ice machine on-site. They are put into a freezer for on-site use. They look flimsy, but they have held up to everything we expected, and the drawstring is super convenient!
