I just recently got back into DDR and this is definitely a good bigger pad, the only other option is ltex pads which can cost 600$ so in comparison this is the best option for a newbie like me. I can't speak for the wear since I have only used it for 3 weeks but I am using it rather heavily. For the slip, I duct taped it to the hard floor and honestly it doesn't slip at all anymore so if you have space to do that, you should. I might update if this degrades really fast but so far so good

Cd game on computer or laptop did not work great. We could not get the mat to pair up with the game at all. Game was doing its own thing. It could have being my equipment not sure. However this is a risk you would have to be willing to take to figure out if compatible

Flimsy mat that slips a lot, but about what you would expect for the price. Have to constantly reposition it after each song. Keys are not perfect, but responsive enough. Works fine for Stepmania on Windows 10. I mean... it works!

Works great like I remember. I forgot how thin they are but I had duct taped it to a thicker piece of those foam ‘puzzle’ exercise mats just fine. Works great for Stepmania. I may upgrade to a better one in the future. As an entry level mat for getting back into ‘DDR’ this isn’t so bad. It’s a lot like ones that came with the video games back in the day.Tip though: Soft pads are subject to wear and tear faster due to the nature of how they are designed. To limit plates sliding inside and crumpling of the mat. Tape or staple gun(carefully) the mat to a hard piece of foam and/or a small 2 by 4 of MDF. Will make it last just a little bit longer. Store flat. Also to prevent sliding on carpet taping it to a clear office chair grip will work too :)

Simple soft pad. Seems to work better than the stock PS/PS2 soft pads but could entirely be because it’s new. Does slip around a bit more than the Konami soft pads and the surface itself is more slippery. It does work with OS X via Stepmania without any additional configuration. Just go into options and map the keys.UPDATE (2020-06-15): Down arrow no longer works. Didn't even last a month. Garbage pad.

Needed a mat for StepMania, this works great. No problems at all.

Right out of the box the "Down" button doesn't work when another is already pressed. It works when the other inputs aren't pressed so it works on it's own. Which is not ideal. It's almost like when you press any other inputs it shorts out the "Down" input. All the other inputs are fine. Still makes is unplayable unless you pretend...
