The are small light weight cat sculptures. As bookends they work about as well as two cans of Coke Zero would. Actually two cans of Coke Zero would work better as bookends than these things. But they are cool little cat sculptures!

These bookends are heavy and nicely sized, I’ve also knocked them off of my shelves and they survived like a four foot fall with no breaks, cracking, dings, etc. so that was also impressive.

These are cute but they are not bookends!!! They have no weight to them and they are not balanced to hold books at all... not even a small pocket sized book. I'll keep them cause like I said they are cute but buy them for that and that alone.

These are adorable statues, but they are nowhere near heavy enough to work as bookends. Even used to support little 7.5 inch notebooks, they kept falling over, either from the weight of the notebooks or from the jostling when I went to retrieve or return a notebook. The ear of one cat broke off during one of these falls, so now they collect dust on the bottom shelf, supporting nothing. I encourage the makers to try a heavier material or a different design for the base so that these cuties can serve as proper bookends.

Very cute kitties so for decorating only, they're fine. To be used as bookends? No Way! Too lightweight and no way of adding any pressure to hold up a book. I returned the set I ordered.
