I bought this to replace my trusty old corkscrew that was “downsized” by the “boss”. The battery operated cork remover that was to replace “old faithful” just didn’t work. This works as well as I had hoped. Back to drinking wine without bits of cork floating in it.

Takes a bit of getting use to but it works very well time will tell, having been through quite a few different types of corkscrew this might be the one?

This cork screw is definitely not work the money. While I used it, it split the cork every time into pieces as it pulled it out of the bottle. It then would not simply unscrew it off the unit. A waiter corkscrew is easier to use. Not worth the buy unless you need a paper weight.

First time I have ever split a cork was the first time I used it 🙄. Looks great but will go back to the cheaper options.
