Amazing cordless wood router. Much more versatile and portable than corded.There is a newer, powerful model, but be prepared to dish out $200-$250 extra bucks. If you're not doing any heavy-duty woodworking, this tool is more than enough.

Nice and compact and easy to hold and handle it. Works great no issues with it. Price is comparable with others around. Easy and quick enough to set it up and quick switch with each bit when needed. Happy with my purchase.

The advertisement indicates that thebattery is included, and the specs indicated that it's not included. When the package showed up the battery was not included. Other than that, the product is great. Would recommend.

I bought my sander through this supplier and now I've got a router from them. They don't come up very often but when they do they're a lot cheaper than buying in the UK. Some people may be put off by the 20v marking and think they're not compatible with the 18v UK batteries. However, they are exactly the same tool. The US calculates nominal voltage of batteries differently to us and so the exact same battery is 20v in the US and 18 in the UK/EU.Anyway, very happy with this. Brand new and works like a charm.

For a cordless 1/2” router, this tool rocks. I use it mostly for planing cutting boards and slabs. Just upset I did t get it sooner. It came quick and in great condition.

Ive been using routers for well over 30 years and this is phenomenal, it comes with multiple bases, dust covers, 1/4" and 1/2" collet and also template guide.The depth lock is amazing, so well placed and easy to use. Variable speed is also close and can be adjusted anytime with ease.The kickback shutdown works fantastic, this has never been an issue for me with any router but as a safety feature for stupid people, it's great.I was wondering how top heavy it may be with a 9ah but it's not an issue.. unfortunately I won't be buying the reccomended powerstack batteries as I've tested them and wasn't impressed. A normal 5ah or flexvolt works fine for me.10/10 Dewalt

I watched many reviews and chose this trim router because of the pros over the cons.The only thing I would say negative is the size. If you have small hands you may have issues.On the positive side of things;1. I love the power it has, especially if you use the right battery.2. Soft start is very nice. it does not jerk your hand at start up.3. Fast break, when you press the off button it STOP.4. LED and clear base helps with precision work.I am already in the Dewalt system, which influenced my decision, but it is still one of the best router out there.

I needed to router out the door latches on 9 doors in my house, I was able to mark the area, set the depth and free hand all the cuts. It made the job so much easier compared to chiselling out the slot and trying to figure out the depth. I went on to use this for a couple of trim cuts on the box I made and again it handled it like a champ. Love the easy adjustment, love the power from this and honestly I have nothing negative that I can say. Great tool in the arsenal!

After using this, i have now put my well loved but corded router. Powerful even for a battery operated router. The brake is wonderful and the LED lights helps as i mostly do my work after work and day light is limited. Will be getting the dust extractor, definitely needed.

Very high quality useful tool for trimming and 'circle cutting.' As with most cordless trim routers, it is going to be a little challenging to hold with one hand for those with smaller hands. Bare in mind that if you buy the optional ‘dust collection attachment,’ it will obscure the slot located at the ‘locking button’ where you would normally look in to see the progress of the router. See the attached pics for this. But, this is not really an attribute of how the router itself performs. When fitted with the dust collector, it does do a terrific job of removing nearly ALL shaving though. So, it is a catch 22 of whether seeing the bit progress is more important than ‘picking up all the shavings.’ To use the gap to see ‘bit progression,’ you would still have to wear goggles anyway because – obviously – that is where the shavings will fly out. Just thought I would mention it though in case other are like me and like to eyeball the bit as it travels.
