Love them. Not many people probably use hog rings anymore, but I've found this particular one great for many things. I've used it for making rodent barriers to attach two pieces of wire mesh together quickly. I've used it for suspending light weight trellis netting. I've even repaired a dust collector bag with it by using the rings like stitches along the hole. Very multi purpose.

Works great. Really nice to auto load in cold weather. I used these for burlap when wrapping shrubs. Should have bought these years ago. Took my manual ringer along just in case, but these worked better than I had expected. May not be great for large gauge wire but for burlap they are king. The Dewalt rings are quite expensive but there are cheaper options that work in the Dewalt tool. I have no regrets buying this tool!

The ability to load it like a stapler is super handy. And allows quick work at odd angles. So glad I didn't cheap out on single loader types.

This dewalt hog ring pliers kit has very good product quality. I've had other ones from china like the black one with red handles and they play up in time and they are not convenient to use and makes your hand sore after using for a while. This Dewalt Hog Ring is very good to use and does not make my hand sore after use.

I need to attach hardware cloth and tough this would work but it did not. The product work well , just not for the usage I intended .

This style of pliers will only use the 11/16 DeWalt reloads. The way the reload slides into the pliers, it will not accommodate a larger or smaller hog ring. The pliers also will not work with individual hog rings. I bought these to do upholstery in vehicles. Think factory seat covers. They are pretty cumbersome to use for this type of work. I had a hard time getting these pliers to actually grip the seat foam attachment point and the cover at the same time. I prefer the GearWrench KD Tools 3703 for this type of work. The P7DW crimps the hog ring at an almost 90 degree angle in relation to the tip, so on the side of the plier... the GearWrench 3703 crimps inline with the tip like a normal pair of pliers allowing it to get into a more confined space. If you google search this DeWalt pliers (P7DW), it looks like the common use for this is for attaching pieces of chicken wire fencing to each other and securing small bundles of wires etc.
