Did a good job with 2/0 wire. I will see if more crimps reduce how well the tool works.

It's kinda cheap but it works good enough for me.

Wasn't expecting much for the money, and when it arrives it's so dinky. However, paired with a 5lb lump hammer, setting terminal lugs on 10mm² and 16mm² cable was a breeze. 2 good whacks and its done. Didn't even bother to bolt it down. Highly recommended.

Used it today for the first time. Was repairing cable ends for electric golf carts. Was easy to use and worked quite well to secure the new ends.

Simple to use...definitely need to attach to bench or work area when using...i screwed to a 2x4 pc of wood and clamp to bench when needed. Beats the old hammer and pin punch method.

Very useful for securing large crimp terminals. Works well, easy to use and robust. Not too expensive either.

I have a large hydraulic crimper in my shop; however, I sometimes need to make repairs in the field and have been using the pliers and hammer method - not pretty and not the best crimp. I tested this with a supplied terminal on a section of 2 AWG wire - it works surprising well. One hard hit from a small sledge and it is done - put some heat shrink on and it looks factory. I mounted this to a section of steel angle iron, so I can clamp the one edge in my vise on the truck, and store it away when not in use. With just a supply of heat shrink and assorted terminals I can now make or repair cables in the field easily without excess or bulky equipment.

This tool is simple and it works perfectly. Use a 3lb hammer and you are set.
